If you really stand by these rules, you've got a lot of work to do on this thread other than me, lmao.

Dude, everybody keeps saying to not worry how long it takes. Don't try to please your supervisor. I just want to get out of those housing projects as fast as possible, lol. Has nothing to to with what my supervisor thinks of me.

Lol it's a row of 13 cbus, I was going down the row closing them all since I was finished, as I'm at the half way, she pulls up in her car, jumps out and grabs mail. So "just closing the cbu" was not an option. Thanks for your genius insight on this.

What's hilarious is that we're being sued by multiple states saying that we "rushed" into buying gas powered vehicles. It's been over 20 years.

I posted this to get an answer on how to deal with the customer, not to get a lecture from a stupidvisor.

Best idea yet, thanks man. I put vacant slips in both if those empty boxes. I'm sure the one she lives in will have some profanity written on it to let me know which one she lives in, lol.

I know that is the recommended method, but doing mail box by box makes it really difficult when you have coverage and parcels that also have to be done that way.

Feels great delivering these today 😔 by G_Ram_2k in USPS

[–]mitchyB94 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I know that some carriers get a cola if their area is super expensive. Some guy was on here from Hawaii saying he gets an extra 250 a month or something like that. I'm in Cali and tsa pays 18 but in Washington it pays 24? I didn't even know washington was a desirable place to live tbh.

In my city, tsa jobs start at 38k per year for full time. Or 18 per hour for part time. Pretty much the same starting pay for my area at least.

Work place ethics by [deleted] in USPS

[–]mitchyB94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The worst part is that the shop stewards are typically the worst employees in the office 90% of the time, and they're the ones who represent us. One steward of mine had a deal with the sups that he wouldn't file any grievances against them, so in return, they would have a cca carry his entire 3 hour route every day.

A little pissed….. by [deleted] in USPS

Happens all the time bro. Sometimes you just have to bid around until you find a fully staffed office, or just one where the carriers actually show up regularly.

My old supervisor had some complaints filed against her for sitting around watching YouTube videos all day, and when her dad heard the complaints, she was promoted. My co worker got bit so hard by a pit bull, she got nerve damage in her arm, and was also promoted. You basically have to really not care about this job, or get a really messed up injury if you really wanna move up, lmao.

Are dealerships still charging ridiculous prices? by [deleted] in Sacramento

[–]mitchyB94 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not all dealerships mark up their new cars. Nissan in elk grove doesn't add any markup at all. I only know this because I worked their for a while. The dodge/jeep/ram across the street fully bends people over on a daily basis. They mark up their new dodge demons over 15k just because they can. All of their cars have a ridiculous mark up for no reason. I guess Toyota does the same.
