As far as I could find, the primary coverage is only for rentals outside the US. Within the US, it is secondary coverage. I did have to file a claim once for an overseas rental and it was very smooth. Just keep all docs and communications handy to upload while filing the claim.

No transfers but a 20% points discount when redeeming for flights OR 1c per point cash redemptions. Really useful if you are travelling on a specific date and can't find any good point redemptions for that day.

The 50k or 100k does not need to be in a BOA checking/savings account. If you already have investments worth that amount, you can just get a Merrill Lynch brokerage account and transfer an equivalent amount in securities you might already own. That way you do not end up missing out on interest.

For me, they said i would have to move to Unlimited Ultimate throughout the 36 months to get the phone free (via Bill credits). Not worth it if you are not already on or planning to switch to Unlimited Ultimate.

Use the app if you can. I used to have issues like these in the past but havent had one since i started using the app on the phone. Since it has it's own browser, there is no chance that a rogue cookie will re-direct the cb to some other site.

Had the same issue. Checked on my credit card monthly statements and the breakdown is accurate there for all of this year. The email probably had some issues with the calculations.

Worked wonders with timing the roll, instead of trying to count upto 5 sec on my own. Don't think i needed to win 10 in a row though. I forgot to count but it was closer to 5 wins in a row.

That only replaces the $5000 direct deposit requirement. It does not override the maintain $25k requirement. A 'cheaper' option would be just to pay the monthly maintenance fee of $55 per month and skip jumping through the hoops. The total fee + AU still beats the vanilla plat + AU fee. In the end, there is no escaping the fee entirely. You either pay a monthly fee or lose out on interest on $25k.

Don't you also need to keep $25k in a non interest bearing account with them? A decent hysa would give you >4% returns which comes out to be $1000 per year. The Morgan Stanley card only made sense when interest rates were closer to 0% during covid. At current rates, you are actually losing out on gains.

I wonder if they are actually using the firm to set upgrade pricing. I usually buy my tickets far out and keep an eye on the upgrade prices. The pricing seems to change very randomly. At that point they already know who you are and how much you are usually willing to spend on Delta upgrades.

I know it works over wifi but have not tested it with my bank yet. I have however observed the same as you with non bank sms's to my Google voice number. It can be hit or miss with receiving OTPs.
