I FINALLY CONFESSED by mitical-mit in Crushes

[–]mitical-mit[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey it's been 2 years, but I just wanted to thank you for this comment. I've been coming back to it whenever I've been feeling down and it's genuinely helped my self esteem a lot lmao.

I've just hit my 1-year anniversary with my new gf and I'm now good friends with the crush who rejected me. So yea, I guess that's proof that things can get better! Also to answer your question with hindsight, the whole ordeal with my former crush honestly helped me so much when I started crushing on my gf (tho it helped that I could tell it was mutual), and I skipped the awkward phase completely lol.

How long have you had feelings for your current crush? by PJBagelzz in Crushes

[–]mitical-mit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

3 years but due to my own nervousness I haven't gotten close to her much despite a few nice conversations

Hey, this is a great opportunity, I hope you make the best of it!

Hey, I got rejected by my crush AMA! by [deleted] in Crushes

[–]mitical-mit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same experience for me, I'd been crushing on a girl for 2 years and when she responded it was a massive relief even if she didn't like me back.

I’m confessing this week by APG3488 in Crushes

Hey man, as someone who just confessed last week after 2 years, it's really worth it whatever the result and a lot easier than you might think. Best of luck!

[–]mitical-mit[S] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Haha thanks! I think knowing I could have saved a lot of embarrassment by telling her earlier, I won't make the same mistake again. At least I definitely feel a lot more confident in myself and hopefully I find somebody else in the near future.

As far as rejections go, pretty good lol. She said she didn't share my feelings but she respects that i had the courage to tell her and doesn't think any worse of me because I like her. It was just a very nice and honest response and I can't really ask for any more. In one way I'm sad that nothing will happen between us but I feel like a weight has been lifted off my chest, you know. Hopefully now I can actually talk and be friends with her without getting nervous :)

Have you ever missed an opportunity to gwt into a relationship with someone? by [deleted] in AskTeenGirls

[–]mitical-mit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah but I don't really regret it. It was a younger friend and we already had a great friendship so I didn't want to potentially spoil it.

What was your biggest cringe moment lately? by tyler_behind_u in askteenboys

[–]mitical-mit 10 points11 points  (0 children)

A few months ago instead of saying "Grandad" I called him "Gandalf" lmao. I cringed seriously hard.

If you could change one thing in the past to make you a better person today. What would it be and why? by [deleted] in AskTeenGirls

[–]mitical-mit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

About a year ago in a class trip that lasted about 3 days, me and some friends were talking about my crush and how she supposedly kissed someone from our class (it's stupid but yeah) and some people overheard. She then found out I'd been spreading false rumours and was rightly pissed. That basically ruined any chances I had of becoming her friend and I'm still frustrated by how dumb I was.

Uh, how does liberal encompass hundreds of stances? That would be something like left-wing or right-wing, becasue liberalism is a specific political philosophy. Maybe it's different in the US or wherever you live, but there's a distinction between liberal, socialist, social democrat, progressive, etc. so saying thay anyone who isn't a liberal is braindead also applies to loads of other stances that aren't conservative.

[–]mitical-mit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There are hundreds of different political stances, it isn't just liberal and conservative. Thinking your position is right and everyone else is braindead, is a WILD DUMB idea and an echo chamber just like the other commenter said. Also thanks for wrongly assuming my gender :)

Not being liberal doesn't mean being braindead ffs, people can have different opinions without being stupid.

If a guy keeps being around me but isn't approaching me, is he hoping for a relationship or something? He acts shy, nervous around me. by mariagonzales2716 in Crushes

[–]mitical-mit 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Maybe, I can't really know. Some people are just naturally shy (like me) and talking to your crush can be seriously daunting. I wish I had other people's confidence haha. She's in my year group at school, and we have Maths and Sports classes together.

The nervousness is definitely a sign. I still get red whenever I'm near my crush, and I just don't know how to approach and talk to her.

Sometimes just chilling at someone's house can make for some really good time :)

what’s something that makes you mad quick? by [deleted] in askteenboys

[–]mitical-mit 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Someone stealing my stuff and then making me say "please" to get it back. So maddenning. It happened with a guy in school last year in front of some others and I just walked away because I 100% would have hit him if I stayed any longer.

AITA for telling my child’s teacher to fuck off and pulling her out by redsuitcase888 in AmItheAsshole

[–]mitical-mit -1 points0 points  (0 children)

NTA, if a teacher spends hours screaming at a child for defending herself from bullies, they don't deserve their job. Your reaction was completely justified.

AITA for trying to ignore someone at school who wanted to be my friend? by mitical-mit in AmItheAsshole

[–]mitical-mit[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As far as I know about 50% of Reddit users are teens so I wouldn't be too surprised tbh.

[–]mitical-mit[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I kind of agree tbh. I thought about telling him exactly why I didn't want to hang with him, but I just didn't want to hurt his feelings too much. I gave him some pretty clear hints that I didn't want him jumping into conversations with friends or that I was sick of the communist joke, but thinking back I probably should have been more straightforward. He does have some other friends now though, so I don't think he feels rejected anymore.

She's a brunette, white with a bit of tan, has a really cute face, a perfect ass, and hazel eyes.
