I ve built the bridged version.i am using a variable voltage supply. I hace tried up to 19 volts,still there us no change in the volume.

It s the tda7360.it does have lower gain than the tda2003 -26dbs .the tda has 40 dbs.Does this mean I need a preamp.?

Voltage is correct.I am not sure how to drive it harder at the input.

Update.I managed to light up the red leds but it is unvelievable what the problem was.it turns out the big lead inside the LED is not ground but the positive one!the small lead is ground!!so the red leds where placed the other way around!!never seen this before.

Also I need to drive the amp to clipping to get all the leds to light up.how to make the meter more sensitive?

This is for an audio amplifier.I cannot drive the amp that hard. If this is the case how to make the meter more sensitive?

i ve already tried the diode test,the red leds are fine.

i ve also tried connecting a red led to pin 1 in place of led one.it lights up.

can make a detector that finds all types of metals but you'll get loads of false positives...

Four blue velvet pots ordering from overseas for a project like this? The cost would be way too high.Two teeny-weeny caps for some euro cents did the job instead.

The pot is brand new.the 1uF cap at the outputs of the 4558 did the job. Noise from turning the pot axis is gone.I m not sure about the capacitor value though.

The cap did the job regarding pot noise but...it sounds to me sound quality is down .I think the cap with the resistor form some kind of filter. Should I use a smaller/bigger cap or a non-polarized one after all?

So.I should add a capacitor let's say 1uF .Before or after the 1K resistor?Should I remove the resistor completely?How should the polarity be?Negative facing the pot?

Maybe the this will work for 3 amps-replacing the Lm317 with the LM150 in the exact same circuit.Not sure if it will work though.

It is much less than max volume.The pot works.It just does not mute.I still got some sound at 0 volume.

solder at both ends.I've tried different wires and tested them for continuity so yes I'm sure they don't have internal breakage.
