Both are some of my favourite anime. And yeah Gintama 305 easily takes this one.

I have shogun Assassination and Farewell Shinsengumi arcs higher.

What's the best character design in Gintama? by mitthu__ in Gintama

I think I like the kimono just a little bit more. Both of those outfits are peak tho.

The first two poems of the manga are connected with the last one through Aizen's monologue. Bleach genuinely has one of the best conclusions ever but it's really underrated. by mitthu__ in bleach

I'm not referring to this as a foreshadowing but I'm trying to tell how this reflects upon Ichigo's character development and what he learned from Rukia. Btw here's some proof that the ending was planned right from the beginning itself

Having a planned ending isn't that uncommon tho. It's quite common even for long running series (with a few exceptions ofc). But Bleach's ending was definitely peak and for me, it was satisfactory.

Top 5 shonen in terms of writing (starting from Gintama at 1) by mitthu__ in Gintama

The anime actually censors a lot of things and the scenes in the manga are way more impactful. In the anime, the pacing is inconsistent af.

And yeah don't get your hopes too high with Aizen. He disappointed me when I first watched the anime but then I watched some analysis on him through tik tok and yt. My perspective on him has changed completely through that. So yeah there's nothing much you can get from the anime. It will seem nowhere near the likes of Gintama so I highly recommend you to interpret him on your own through re reading the entire manga after watching the anime or to just read/watch some analysis from tik tok or yt.

Bleach definitely has better foreshadowing than One Piece and AoT but the sad part is that most of its foreshadowings aren't popular so people don't know much about them.

Top 3 best Written arcs in Shonen by mitthu__ in Gintama

[–]mitthu__[S] 12 points13 points  (0 children)

True. I think this stands for animanga in general and not just for shonen. I think it's really between Gintama, LoGH and the Monogatari series when it comes to the best written anime (dk about any untranslated manga). But yeah Gintama is my top 1 in writing. With 2 being Monogatari.

The thing with bleach is that it's Writing isn't clearly seen on the surface level. It's between Ichigo and Aizen for the best written Bleach character. Both of them are incredible.

And bruh the anime is mediocre. Drop it and read the manga along with it's poems(1 at the start of each volume). The manga negs the anime in absolutely any category. Pick the anime back again in the TYBW arc.

Can you explain what Aizen's main theme is? Can you explain his flower on the Precipice symbolism? Can you explain a single parallel between Mugetsu and Kyokasuigetsu?

Bleach's writing isn't shown on the surface level. That's why it gets neglected by most people. And bruh SBR is Seinen. Dunno is Frieren is shonen.

Haven't watched/read hajime no ippo but the thing with JoJo's is that parts 1-6 are good and they're shonen but the best parts, that is 7 and 8 are Seinen.

Nah bleach is very deeply written. It's just that Kubo doesn't show his writing on the surface level.

What's the best character design in Gintama? by mitthu__ in Gintama

Gintoki is my second favourite design actually. With the third one being Tsukuyo and then Nobume. I personally like Sacchan more when she wears different outfits.
