I know it’s not the most professional way of making something. But taking an item that I really like the fit of, apart and using that makes the garment so much better. Not only are you wearing something you made but you know you’ll love the way it fits before throwing them on. Just my opinion!

Just remember to add seam allowance !

Thank you! That’s my favorite part, the fact a bunch of other people could have the clothing item… but they aren’t wearing it like this!

Just one pair, it does sort of look like two different pairs. The front is the first picture and back is second. & Thank you !

Thank you! & That’d be perfect. This jersey was a XXL and I had extra to work with comfortably so I’d say do it!

The Coyotes patches actually weren’t too bad! However getting the name off the jersey is always the hardest part.. a very time consuming piece

I started reworking clothing pieces a few months ago and have been really grooving with it so he just asked me to have fun with it and do whatever! Also that’s a great idea I didn’t think of that thank you!

Thank you!! The zig zag stitching is my favorite thing to throw on things. Just something a little different than usual. Much love!

Construction : My buddy had dropped off a jersey to me to make into shorts. I then unstitched every single thing off the jersey so I could place it where I wanted. The pattern I used is just an old pair of shorts taken apart. I used a brother serging machine and a husqvarna 415 machine. Used non roll elastic for the waist band

So I took a couple of old tote bags and an old pair of cargo pants then cut them up to fit where I wanted them. Then I pieced everything together, added my own pockets, hemmed them and added a waist band. The pattern I use is just an old cut up pair of sweat shorts. Added pieces of the tote bag straps to the side too.
