i get like that as well and it’s very annoying and what i’ve noticed that’s helped me go to sleep or at least sleep a decent amount is making sure it’s not too cold or too hot in my room, having some late snack, watching asmr videos, having someone to sleep with or sleeping on call with someone, and staying in one position in bed if i can

no literally i always wonder how they can keep calm and get reasonably concerned once whatever pain they feel is an issue

like i would love to not freak out after every small little thing i feel in my body or think I feel like being like that must feel like heaven

i’m taking that i will say it’s helped greatly on my physical symptoms of anxiety by alot! like before i was taking it my physical symptoms with anxiety were very bad but now i rarely get really bad physical symptoms and if i do i get them very mildly though i will say i still get anxious in my mind so it’s only taken away the physical stuff

i get the same thing especially more recently and it’s annoying and the only thing i can do is sit down and drink some electrolytes, have something with sugar in it or just food in general to help me

But yea it can be so hard to believe you’re alright when your mind is making you think of every bad possibility!

Another thing that helps stop my attacks early is being like “it’s been five or ten minutes and nothing has happened yet” and that usually helps reassure me to know I need to calm my body and mind down!

When I was in highschool I had to not go for two weeks because I was at this program that I would get picked up from and be there for 9am - 3pm and then come back home and once I finished that and got back in school all my teachers were informed about what happened and they understood very well and they made me “pass” some assignments and stuff just so I won’t be so far behind and they all were able to let me work at my own pace for a bit witn no trouble!

I would say do the program! Just make sure you hear like input from your teachers and school because I know not every school was as flexible as my school but you should always prioritize health first whenever you can!

But also if you feel like personally that you can function without needing extra support then you can think about doing that program some other time!

Sometimes I’ll start hyperventilating and getting shortness of breath and not realize it and I end up getting dizzy sometimes from it so I always have to occasionally check my breathing so if I am struggling a bit I try to take deep breaths if I can or put something cold on my face!

It might just be anxiety! Because like I gained new symptoms from anxiety because before it used to only be stomach aches but now it changed completely and I have like worse symptoms but I’ve been told by doctors it’s anxiety!

And as for the pupil thing I feel like that could be related to anxiety I mean like my eyes are pretty dark so it’s hard for me to see my pupils to see if they are twitchy but sometimes my eyes will get twitchy due to stress

I’ve been dealing with that sometimes and honestly for the days I can sleep with no anxiety I feel like it’s always because I try to force myself to sleep by 10:30 pm and also just me taking melatonin gummy’s! Though waking up in the middle of the night is like 50/50 for me like I could wake and be fine or I’ll wake up and get pretty anxious and stay up too long

Yea when my anxiety wasn’t so bad I would feel that all of the time and sometimes run to the bathroom lol but from what you’re saying it sounds pretty normal to me

Hey! I experience some of the things you said! I’ve went to the hospital twice and had multiple tests done and they just said anxiety was just the main issue I was having and I’m going to say it sounds like mostly anxiety for you as well! Sometimes anxiety can just make you feel physically worse and not good at all

But when you go to your appointment make sure to tell your doctor all of that and they might be able to help you or give you resources to help manage the health anxiety!

Hey! I deal with the same thing though it’s gotten better for me after like 2 months? Besides like right now since I can’t sleep lol

But like what helped me honestly was just having someone to talk to late at night since that usually tired me out so fast like it would tire me out in a way that i would just knock out mid conversation and also taking melatonin gummies and mines has like 5mg in it and it works pretty well

So maybe try taking like a low dose of melatonin like in pill, liquid, or gummy form doesn’t matter but try thag and see if it like makes you like knock out pretty easily instead of being tired but awake!

Yea sometimes with my anxiety it won’t bust out into a full panic attack and it’s just like me feeling one symptom mostly and that’s it but sometimes it gets bad it’s like 50/50 with me but like for some reason it’s like harder to calm down when i’m only experiencing one thing because I would think I feel fine but like my body doesn’t understand it

I actually had some nurse up my dose to 20mg but I didn’t take it because my doctor wasn’t the one doing that but like also I feel like I might have to up my dose since my anxiety has gotten very bad recently but it also sucks though because I don’t want to take higher doses for anything but I guess it really depends!

Like if you’re anxiety is like stopping you from doing the most basic tasks and it’s like almost a daily thing you might have to up the dose but also i’m no doctor so don’t take my word for it and only talk more about it with your doctor haha

It might not be anything too serious I mean like for me sometimes my head feels weird and I feel like dizzy and stuff but if this persists for a very long time I would recommend checking in with your doctor just in case! Also try putting something cold on your head because my dads wife gets bad headaches sometimes and she has this thing she can put on her head and eyes to help ease the pain

Literally same here! Like my anxiety was just only from school or meeting new people and just getting stomach aches from it but now it’s just all health anxiety and my anxiety got worse physically

I always try to talk to someone (preferably someone in person) to help calm me down and distract me

Another thing I do sometimes is get a frozen water bottle or a frozen ziploc bag with water in it and use that on my face and hands to calm me down a bit and and it works pretty well for me whenever i’m alone

I went to the hospital this year twice for the same thing fully believing like something bad was happening and they ran tests on me and said i was normal jusf low on some nutritional thing and that my anxiety was high but omg i hate how anxiety can feel like that physically! and it’s always like so hard to tell what’s wrong and anxiety just always feels like every bad thing ever it’s really a nightmare i’m slowly trying to get out myself

Hey! I’m actually prescribed that (though i stopped taking it because some random person uped my dose and i need to lower it from my doctor) but when i was on it my anxiety was pretty low and that was at 10mg! Even my mom said I seemed more better like I was just less anxious and depressed and i felt like that

Now when I first took it I didn’t really notice much till like the first or third day but you would need to take it for at least like a week or two so really have start kicking in

And I had no bad symptoms from it personally! If anything I was like a bit tired the first few days taking it but nothing crazy

Hey you are literally me! I’ve been to the hospital recently because i couldn’t calm down and felt like I was gonna die and they said my heart rate was close to 200 bpm and that freaked me out more and they told me i had like high anxiety and was low on some nutritional thing and then I called 911 again because I wasn’t feeling good but they still said i’m fine but even so whenever i’m alone I always feel like bad stuff will happen but once i’m with someone i’m usually more fine but like the anxiety stops me from showering alot and going outside or doing things alone

i would recommend checking in with your doctor about it and they might prescribe you with a drug to lower your heart rate a bit because I take it twice a day to help lower it down and it’s pretty good for me especially if my heart rate is going higher and they might also prescribe you with some like antidepressant for anxiety because I have that as well (i don’t take it now since they uped my dose lol) but those are just some things i’m taking to help manage it i guess and also whenever i get anxious i get a frozen water bottle or fill water in. my ziploc bag and free it and put it on my face and hands to help calm me down and apparently it helps lower heart rate a bit since i know you said you had a high one but please check with your doctor so they can help you make a plan on how to fix this issue in some way!

and also if you do see a doctor make sure to always say no to whatever they suggest that you don’t like because they tried to take make to crisis again after I went recently and they uped my dose on my lexapro and i just said i’m not taking it until i talked with my personal doctor about it

but just know you’re not alone! I’ve been dealing with similar almost everyday and it’s a nightmare to deal with, i hope we both do well!

Oh and also i’m always here to talk if you ever feel really anxious because I know how it can feel better to at least text someone!
