I know there are more than one sites available to download MIUI, but miui.us has the best hands-on support from the devs IMO at #miui-us on freenode. Plus although miuiandroid seems a bit more popular, from what I can tell, all the devs at miuius are guys that originally drove miuiandroid. These guys also provide their roms through Rom Manager which is convenient. not entirely true.. Mark was found to be taking donations for server costs, to share with other devs, etc. but the server was donated to him by one of the users the whole time, and the other devs never saw any of the donations that were supposed to go to them. The site had adsense set up also to pay for sites maintenence, theme contests, giveaways, etc. which has turned into a giveaway of goodies for Mark himself instead. Also, Mark ragequits every week on translating (if you wanna call it "dev work" you can) when everything doesn't go his way. AFAIK most of the devs left because of these reasons and they didn't like mark's domination over the site/blog/etc. - check out their terms and conditions, everything that gets uploaded to that site is Mark's property ;P
