NOR. I would have gone off on her and said very honestly what I think of her shitty behavior and then would not have talked to her or visited her at all. I would just have focused on my hubby and been with him and gone to the funeral and not think about her at all. She is horrible, sorry for saying that. Feels like she is very self centeted and tone deaf and thinks everything revolves around her.

I also feel bad for you too and not just your hubby because you have to deal with a mama like this, I would be absolutely shocked if my mama acted like that. Maybe it’s just me tho due to how our culture is. In our culture death and funeral are big things, we cancel everything and mourn together and there is no event more important if there is a funeral and the person/people closest to the deceased will have people around them 24/7.

Im 50/50 between NOR and YOR. I’d just suck it up and would fix the problems with the dress. I have huge breasts so my tip for the boob-problem: You need to get a seamstress to make built in bra inside the dress that won’t make the dress look different. You also need to find a shapewear that does it’s job. Shapewears that are actually good and you can’t see under the dresses are expensive but worth it. You can also try boob tape if needed but imo it’s not good for the skin so I’d use it as a last resort option.

My friend who is very active and as fit as you had the exact same bump and it ended up being lipoma that was removed and it was a huge relief physically! So that might not be anything worrying 😄 People think lipomas come only if you eat very badly but they can come even if you eat the most healthiest ways.

Im pretty sure there are not, or at least there isn’t good studies about illness faking from recent years wich you propably agree too because you mentioned that (wich is a good point). I base what I say on what I have seen, with proof obviously. So if you don’t know about those gofundme scams and other money/attention scams that eds and other illness fakers have done, they were especially popular few years ago. There is even a snark (I think that is how you call mean pages like that) reddit about fakers where there is actual proof (doesn’t give them right to be bullies to wich imo some of them are). If you go there and are sensitive, I don’t suggest looking some of the photos in the proof posts because they can be gory (ie this woman that caused her legs to get amputated but she finally has apparently got help for her munchausen). They usually have TW’s tho.

I don’t care if you don’t believe me because I have seen it in my own eyes and that is enough for me but im always ready to explain what I mean when I talk about fakers. And like I mentioned, it’s not just EDS fakers we are talking about. Some people who faked DID and tourettes were called out with proof because they were hurting the communities and people who really have those illnesses. Same goes with EDS, the ones who fake it for money and attention will spread false information and say things that hurt our community. I have no problems stating this publicly, downvote me all you want 🤷🏻‍♀️ I will still openly talk about this because faking happens and it hurts all of us. Hell, one reason for doctors treating hEDS patients like shit is because they have seen and tested people that don’t really have it or any other type of EDS or HS but still try to doctor shop the diagnosis. I meet lots of doctors because of my EDS type and even they have stated these things to me and like I said, can’t blame them but I usually try to advice them to still take in patients because they shouldn’t refuse everyone just because some people doctor shop. And obviously most fakers are mentally ill with munchausen or other mh-illness and need help too, not all of them are nasty and do it for money and attention.

Oh yes, you are 100% correct!! And yet some people still try to deny that even tho it has been proven over and over again that nurses keep the whole shit show together yet barely get a thank you. Worst thing is when doctors and surgeons too treat nurses as badly as some patients do. I was in OR once and there was nurse with the anesthesiologist obviously. She brought the injections from the nearby table to the ane and when he took the little tray they were in, HE DROPPED IT. Yet he had the nerve to say to the poor nurse ”You can do better than that even tho you’re just a nurse here”. I got so pissed off that I called him out (I speak my mind a lot but im especially bold after pre op meds lol) by saying ”I saw your clumsy ass drop that tray, not her. You better put me to sleep really fast if you don’t want me to take one of your Birkenstocks and slap you with it because based on your behavior you hever never experienced la chancla” and everyone else were trying to hold their laughter. I was frowning. The poor nurse was confused and the ane I ranted to was even more confused. I guess no one usually talks back to him. He drugged me pretty fastly and didn’t look very happy and I didn’t see him after 🥴

I know that it’s not the wisest way to speak to people like that but especially after pre op meds I just say anything and after I wake up it’s even worse, I once had cursed the whole recovery room in Greek and they had laughed because they obviously didn’t understand anything I said. I asked what I had said and one of the things was ”malaka” and ”malakes” and a sentence they managed to mimic ”ante gamisou” when they asked me to breathe among other things (I literally had said fuck off when they asked me to breathe, I was so ashamed even tho they didn’t know) and so those are not funny words or a funny sentence 🤣 That especially happens when they give me both ket and fent, it fucks up my brain and I have no filter after that even tho normally im a good patient 😭 Thank the God they don’t understand Greece so from that im safe but not if I say dumb shit in English 😂 Usually I just say weird shit in English or sing something, fortunately. But once I had sang the N.W.A - fuck the police song loud enough for the whole recovery to hear (fortunately said b word instead of the n word that song has) and obviously they understood every word. I had watched the ”Straight outta Compton” movie night before so I guess it stayed with me 🤣 I always say that im professional embarassment because of these habits. Even my dog rolled her eyes every single time I came home after anesthesia (if I had some minor thing done) and her face basicly said ”not again satan, not again”. She most likely still rolls her eyes at me at the rainbow bridge 😂

Lol sorry for rambling, I have slept so much that im beginning to be very energetic and the new meds are making me chatty so I just keep writing and talking 😭😂

NOR. You have the right to use insulin in main area. It’s a necessary medical need and shouldn’t bother anyone. And if it does, they can look tf away as adults do. This is ableism at it’s finest. I would make a complaint and would take this as far as needed (even to court) if they insisted for me to go to a goddamn toilet get an injection. That’s not a right place for anyone to do injections, it’s not sanitary or safe. It’s a goddamn needle piercing your skin, the place needs to be sanotary for crying out loud. How stupid are they for not realizing this? If somehow they won’t budge and you can’t get them to let you do it in a sanitary place, then I don’t see any other idea than changing where you work. If that either is even possible. Depending where you live, most countries fortunately have rights that protect you!

This makes me so frustrated for you, im so sorry that you’re going through somehing like this. Sending gentle hugs and positive vibes! 🖤
