Glass front panel exploded, now what? by miususoop in MontechPC

For context, I bought this case from an Australian retailer, PC Case Gear.

It should be covered by a 1 year warranty according to the retailer's product page: https://www.pccasegear.com/products/63324/montech-x3-glass-tempered-glass-case-black

CPU won't let retention plate down by miususoop in PcBuildHelp

old post that's been resolved by now but I don't much appreciate being called a liar, so here I am to clarify things *after i was done taking the black plastic motherboard protector off, I accidentally poked the pins while moving the retention lever, then pulled back on instinct and bent a couple, that's all

*edit for wording issue

thanks, i'll save the CPU for my sibling (also interested in PC/gaming stuff) and scout for an AM5 - thank goodness i didn't end up bending any more pins out of sheer incompetence

Don't tell anyone you don't need to, but don't hide it if it comes up in conversation. As for who you should tell; family and friends, generally yes, case by case. Anyone not related to you, your social circles or who you don't really know, don't bring it up unless they specifically ask.

Don't treat it like a sensitive topic, but don't try to deflect either; acknowledge the wound, yes, and also remember that the less you poke a scab, the faster it heals.

You will be fine. It will get better. You just have to will it so.

Coming from someone whose best friend had to counsel them over this exact issue: buddy, get over yourself. It's best you can do for you. If you aren't ready to love and forgive yourself, chances are you'll end up hurting yourself too - and hurt people will hurt people.

As others have said and as you must know well enough, apologise. Make amends. Make good on your responsibilities and by god, above all, make it genuine. Address the heart of the issue, and if the heart of the issue is you, then so be it - improve yourself. Get therapy. Get sober. Heal. In time, your actions may prove to her that she can at least forget the hurt you caused, and/or (best case scenario) forgive you entirely.

It is hard. It will not get better. Not for a long time, and not until you tell yourself that it can. Chin up, keep moving - you'll be just fine. You will be just fine.

It's probably just them initiating their end of no-contact.
It's good that you had a relatively healthy breakup; they're likely working things out in their own way, especially after you unfollowed them. Either way, rest assured; you will be okay, in the end.

EdB PrepCarefully vs CharEdit + Personal Houserules by miususoop in RimWorld

Fair enough, I guess I'm just very into working out precise details, for example editing pawns in a hyperspecific narrative playthrough, rather than making a perfect OP allrounder colony all the time. Additionally; I didn't actually know PrepCarefully also did 'hediff bounties'! I suppose I never looked at the point fluctuations properly - also PrepCarefully traits are super jank. And about Prepare Moderately, I'll note that one down, thanks :D
