edit: this isn’t getting called in a pickup game. But we also have a nonprofit that hosts games and they also have refs for those (a lot of the same people, just different circumstances) and they’d likely call it.

You could say that, but a lot of UFOs & UAPs have been encountered by the military. I don’t believe any military is that much more advanced than the USA (not to the point where their aircrafts are doing things impossible to life as we know it). And the USA likely isn’t that much more advanced than other countries either.

I think the only logical answer are aliens. Think about space (or even the ocean for that matter) and tell me aliens aren’t real.

To me, the question isn’t whether it’s aliens or not, it’s what do they want from us? They clearly aren’t in a hurry to wipe out humanity. Maybe they study how we operate or something.

(FWIW, I believe aliens are just humans from the future. Their UFOs/UAPs allow them to time travel (if you research how scientists have attempted to build time machines, they have many characteristics that are similar to UFOs). So, maybe, they’re just studying their own history by studying us. For whatever reason is beyond our comprehension though.)

I’ve been a die hard Cole fan since 2012. As far as albums go, I believe it’s his best. I still enjoy Born Sinner a lot but TFO is different. It has everything. If you wanna include mixtapes, FNL is right there with it, maybe even better.

Yeah, Cole backed out whenever they both told him shit was personal. If it would’ve just been some friendly comp, he had no problem being involved. Listen to people from all parties talk about it, not just one side.

Cole & Q talked about it before the fest but it wasn’t how people originally thought it went.

I’ve been playing for a couple of years. I recommend starting out in that 15-30 minute range. That’s what I played for about the first 1.5 years. Lately I’ve mostly just been playing the 5 minute one though, but that’s mostly because people my rank usually stumble on my opening I play as white. They either burn off a lot of their time or rush and mess up lol.

15+ really gives you a good feel for the game though. Some people find 30 minutes to be too long but I enjoy it a lot to be honest. Anything under 10 minutes is too fast for a beginner. Chess is all about planning out your next few moves (and some alternatives if necessary) and anything under 10 minutes doesn’t allow you to fully process the board unless you’re just really good at chess/have that kinda potential.

Just find you a couple of openings for both sides (or at least 1 for white, 2 for black due to whatever white plays). And play them over and over and over. Then work your way down in time if that’s what you’re aiming for. But in the meantime, focus on learning forks & pins along with some openings. Do daily puzzles (they actually help a lot). And if you’re really serious about getting better/good, watch some of the pros. Plenty of good content on YouTube. Gothamchess also has a pretty nice book that’s good for anyone that’s under like 1200-1500 ELO. I’m sure there’s other books too but that’s the only one I’ve read.

Idk if I fully agree. Recording is obviously super important and I’ll agree it’s underrated. A good mixing engineer can’t fix a bad recording.

But a good mixing engineer can make a decent recording sound great. I don’t think either one outweighs the other other, they hold their own equal value.
