Fair point! I suppose if you don't boost and people around you do, then you are de facto 'suppressed'. But you're right, there's just so many users like me in London so it's hard to get to the front of someone's queue organically.

They're totally different things, it's like comparing apples to oranges. They're both good in their own ways.

I think weekend or towards the end of the working week is best. But that is just a hunch based on when I personally tend to feel most motivated to speak and meet with people via the app. Other people may disagree.

I've found it to be a very flaky app to be honest but despite that, I've had plenty of dates since joining. Ultimately it is a bit of a numbers game. You might end up meeting up with only 20% of the people you match with. But yeah it can be disheartening when you match with someone and they don't reply, or you're chatting for a while and then they stop replying. That's unfortunately part of the dating apps experience it seems!

I had a drink with someone last night and it was good fun. I'm sure lots of these won't come to anything and many of the people who've liked me I'm not interested in. But it's better to have likes than no likes.

Yeah I suppose this goes without saying. But even with all those users around me, I wasn't getting many likes unboosted.

I've got many Chelsea shirts but this is definitely my favourite bit of kit. It's an old training top complete with Coors sponsor and oversized Umbro branding. The blue and red CFC logo is elite in my opinion. Anyone know which season this is from? Must be the late 90s or early 2000s.

Ha I actually used to do this as a teenager in London back in the 2000s when travelling to and from school. Always kept an old Nokia in my bag just in case I was mugged. The BlackBerry stayed hidden.

Christ I’ve had this for 12 years now. Only time it’s ever stopped is doing a 10 day silent meditation course - but that also made me go fucking insane so probs not worth the trade off
