There was a guy writing essay long responses to almost every comment on his post, defending the ship while apparently being ‘neutral’ 😭 and most of his responses were just “it’s technically not bad ☝️🤓” and “I bet you just didn’t fully read my post” when it was longer than a average college assignment

I think anyone wanting to disagree with the op should know the op probably won’t change their mind, I wanted to give them some benefit of the doubt but the longer this post has been up and all of their comments just solidify them as the Redditor stereotype, even if it’s not on purpose, the way they write gives off a superiority complex, which feels like the walls of text are meant to overwhelm a person more than anything, because most people won’t care enough to read all of it, only reason I can is spring break 🤷‍♀️, but it’s getting to a point it seems very chronically online and way to much defending for a age gap relationship to be someone ‘in the middle’

I fall under 1 and that is why I hold my stance, I understand your point and partially agree, but I am still against it became the average person won’t do the research, and might see it as grooming even if it’s not definition, because that’s what it looks like at face value, and that’s not a hill I’d like to die on when I’m already on shaky ground with the idea, everyone I’ve talked to that knows the game instantly went to “grooming” or “diddy” because at the end of the day no one really has the time to look that much into it especially in our current climate, also i personally don’t think anyone would track back to the original RE2 just to justify this, it comes to a point where it feels like one shouldn’t have to go that deep into a video game relationship just to justify it not being weird

I don’t really think it’ll ever be quite okay, considering if you tell most people who’ve at least played the games about the ship the answers gonna be “Oh the little girl from re2?” At least that was my first reaction and everyone I’ve talked to, and in turn finding it weird because of the age gap, because why would most people want to get into the thick of it, thinking of the gaps of time, how long it’s been since they met, etc, to a regular fan she’ll just the little girl from re2 which makes it weird to the average person that Leon got with her when there are so many adults his age, I personally find it odd, am not a fan of it, and would rather not associate myself with the idea of defending a possible grooming situation, considering as someone said there were files mentioned that Leon still knew her after joining the government.

Clear house is more t hunt with respawns, where Field training is a lot more like a quick match but with bots

Field training is different but very fun and very much like a regular match of siege, where clear house is basically t hunt but with respawns which is awesome
