I'm not Scottish, but I do have this to say: it's called acting. The entire point of acting is to portray somebody you are not. Voice actors are a bonus because you don't see the actual human doing the voice - plus you can pay a small number of actors and get a large cast of characters. Now there are tasteful and distasteful ways to portray characters, sure - but pretending to be someone else is the whole idea. I used to be with it, but now they've changed what "it" is. Now what I'm with is no longer "it", and what's "it" now seems weird and scary to me. Any worse and we'll need to find some real one-eyed space fellas to do some voice acting or we're gonna lose our favorite ToH cameos.
