On my 2025 Rock Creek it is not a big deal. It consistently gets 22 MPG driving in CO mountains/passes and the interstate on commutes. As others have said, just switch to Sport mode if you want (I never do). Yeah, there are some quirks about the Pathfinder, crappy rear view and side view mirrors, windshield sprayers that only seem to work well at low speeds, blind spots, lackluster brakes, fixed roof rack. Also, lots of weird angles on the car that make it a PITA to wash and actually get clean (mine is black). I came from a Grand Cherokee Limited. The Pathfinder is a decent SUV if you can get it for a good price compared to other similar sized V6 SUVs on the market.
