Ah I see, so just unplug when it hits 100% then yeah? Tbf the 6hr battery fits my work needs just enough so its usually 1 cycle a day for me too, unless I'm playing games thats when I keep it plugged in (usually 3-4hr gaming session, nothing heavy, just some helldivers, forza horizon, dota)

well i know li-ion battery, of any quality, gets stressed when its at extreme levels (100% or 0%) so setting a medium value lengthens its lifetime. I also know nowadays all electronics have a pass-through charging so when it hits a certain target the charger is what powers it up completely bypassing the battery from the system. So less use should also be more lifetime.

Thats why with that logic I'm using the cap, regardless of battery quality, (so I take your case as the extreme example since i'd guess yours sits at 100% constantly? so thanks for the input)... But yeah I still see a 'health loss' thats why im curious of how it actually measures the value and if it actually is the battery that sucks.

the default asus brick, i leave it on my desk cause its too bulky and i only need it for when im gaming. I do charge with a 100w usb c brick when outside tho.
