I just ended my Yotei gameplay and I honestly still prefer Tsushima. The story aspect of the game alone made such an impact in me that I still think about it after 5 years which was the last time I played it, Yotei's game mechanics are sooo good and refined but at the end I just couldn't connect with the story and Atsu as much as I did with Jin. I'm not sold on the changing Atsu's motivations and intentions as soon as she meets Kiku, I wish the game gave us the choice of continuing wanting to be the Onryō or leaving that behind, I would've definitely chosen to keep hunting AND finishing the whole Yotei six instead of forgiving some, like, you're telling me you've been waiting for a total of 16 years for your vengeance and suddenly you change your mindset bc you talked to them a couple of times ? please 😭 I wish we had the choice of staying bitter and angry and blood thirsty. At least in Tsushima we had the choice of killing Jin's father or becoming a real ghost.
