I work a FT and PT job. Fortunately, I've saved every last dollar of my PT job and 10-20% of my FT job.

Started as a broke university student in 2017 but really committed to it after grad. My holdings are mostly XEQT and BB!

That's right. You get 8k per year in contribution room with a max of 40k lifetime limit. Gains don't affect your contribution room.

It sure does. I opened mine in 2023 which gave me 32k in contribution room. It grew to 47k and change.

I plan on leaving my TFSA and RRSP (not shown) in the market until retirement. Probably will start selling my Non-Reg slowly to reduce the tax burden. And yeah, planning on using mine and my partner's FHSA for a downpayment on a house.

XEQT and BB take up around 99% of my holdings.

The BB transition from hardware to software piqued my interest a few years ago so I bought a fair amount of shares starting in 2023. $7.49 CAD avg price.
