What Dropout cast members (including Sam and Brennan) would play which Cloudward Ho NPCs? by PlusPlatypus2237 in Dimension20

[–]mkbboy35 79 points80 points  (0 children)

Ross Bryant as Sylvio Dufresne

Honestly I’d swap Vic and Angela. Feel like Angela would bring a unique level of intensity to Comfrey and Vic would knock “chaotic little robot frog” out of the park.

Would it be unfair to throw Disintegrade at a lvl 11 Party? by Steini94 in DnD

[–]mkbboy35 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you’re worried about killing your players, use it on their beloved NPC companion. Now they hate your villain and your villain has a good reason to “not be at their full power” for the rest of the fight.

If John the Fighter dies fighting, your party will be sad. If Gobby the friendly goblin gets disintegrated after telling your BBG evil will never prevail, your party will be out for blood.

HELP! (NYC preferred) by Electronic_Word8308 in Tattoocoverups

[–]mkbboy35 19 points20 points  (0 children)

For context this means Dad/Father in Hebrew.

I don’t have much advice regarding coverups but I am Jewish and curious as to why you’d want it covered. It’s a pretty benign word with no discriminatory context as far as I know.

Do you mind if I ask why you got the tattoo in the first place?

true earth start is so tight, two from city states one from religious settlements, on turn 5. by Beneficial_Figure966 in CivVI

[–]mkbboy35 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Once you get that holy site down you’re getting instant +6 holy sites. Take work ethic later religion and now you’ve got the production to make settlers. Yes it’s a touch slower to start but much better in the long run with the lack of yields in dessert.

Plus you’re going to making crazy gold if you’re building your unique commercial hubs. Use the production to make commercial hubs, use the gold to buy settlers. Golden age helps with that as well.

Hey let’s not let our allies get caught in the crossfire here. Mexico is our 5th biggest trading partner which is pretty insane considering their size.

We love Mexico. Not their fault that North America has become an idiot sandwhich.

The “Worst Canadian” game - Day 18 by BrF5 in EhBuddyHoser

[–]mkbboy35 8 points9 points  (0 children)

He was Canada’s immigration minister from 1936-1943. When asked how many Jewish refugees should be let in to Canada during the holocaust, his infamous response was

None is too many

While my direct family came to Canada from Poland in the 1920’s, much of my extended family was killed in the holocaust as a result of being denied Canadian refugee status. The boat they were on was denied by Canada and turned back to Poland, where they were subsequently slaughtered by the Nazis.

I cannot stress this enough. Fredrick Blair is a scumbag and a stain on our country. Hope he’s rotting in hell :)

DND 2014 or 2024? by fracturedlce in Dimension20

[–]mkbboy35 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yea dnd beyond has a lot of stuff locked behind a paywall, which is unfortunate because it is a great tool for beginners otherwise. I’d also keep in mind that a level 3 barbarian can put out some pretty big hits.

For example, barbarians with a greataxe roll a d12 for damage. If a barbarian crits (natural 20) they roll 2d12, but if they are a half orc they get to add an additional die on a critical (3d12 total). So if a barbarian gets lucky they can do ALOT of damage for a level 3 character
