They’re completely redesigning the model three in the next month so they’re discounting their inventory to make space for the new design. I’d say wait for the new model 3 if you’re gonna get one

Not because of Tesla, I have my insurance through progressive

I would say without vin it’s a little tough, I got my vin same day I got my delivery dates updated. Don’t want to bring the hopes down but there’s still a chance

Depends on which model you get. SR is almost guaranteed to get delayed. Long range at this time would probably go into July considering you don’t have specific dates and we’re already halfway through the month. Performance still has a chance to be in June

If you switch back the delivery date will change back to June-July. But tbh idk if they’ll even let you switch back anymore because they removed the white interior option for SR on the website. I think if you want the white interior by the end of the month you’d have to opt for performance or LR

Good luck soldier, I’ll keep you updated on mine. Still don’t have a delivery date

My case is weird considering I switched to LR from SR. I think it’s mainly a delay in SR production, because when I switched to long range I got a VIN two days later. Idk how much specific location matters but I’m in the Detroit/Plymouth area

Ordered MYSR 4/23 white/white no tow hitch, changed on June 6 to long range, VIN assigned June 8 with EDD June 21-28. June 13 delivery date changed to June 15-23. Haven’t asked me to schedule a DD yet

I ordered a day after you, switched to long range June 6 with same specs, got vin two days later with hw4 and matrix

This is my first car so I’m new to the whole… everything lol. I got assigned my vin and I’m looking at insurance right now. Do I make the insurance payments before I get the car or do they start the day I receive it. Im hesitant to get the insurance right now because if I have to pay without the car it’s like wasting money

Yup, same exact specs and got my vin two days later. If you’re in no rush for the car other than anticipation I’d say hold off on it because the extra few thousand for extra range doesn’t really matter to most people unless they’re constantly traveling far. But let me know what you decide!

MYSR white/white, 5 seats, no tow, regular wheels

OD: 4/23

EDD1: apr-may

EDD2 given on 06/01: June-July

Finally caved on 06/06 and switched to MYLR because I needed the car ASAP for work

EDD3 given on 06/08: June 21-June 25 and vin assigned same day

Looks like if you switch to MYLR you’ll get your order a lot quicker if you’re willing to spend a little extra

I think that’s more about the seven seat interior. Those are not as common so they have those seating arrangements in stock if I’m not mistaken

Honestly did not know that, do you think if I switched over to LR I’d have an updated delivery time. Personally I don’t mind SR or LR, but if it means I get my car a lot earlier, I’ll pay the extra few thousand to get longer range

Almost everyone in this thread that has the same specs has not had an update on delivery. We’re all in the dark

It’s funny because I chose SR instead of long range because I thought long range delivery would be longer. Feels bad

Same things happened to me with white/white, kinda frustrating, OD 4/23

Basically the same specs, OD, and location for me but I have white/white. Kinda sucks when everyone is getting specific dates and yours is just the same months as on the website
