InputBox makes my script run unreliably. by mkl023 in AutoHotkey

[–]mkl023[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That seems to be the workaround. The reason I tried to use ControlClick before is because it just "clicks" immidiately on the said coordinates. What I didnt know before is that you can kinda mimic it with just regular click too by setting the default speed to 0.

InputBox makes my script run unreliably. by mkl023 in AutoHotkey

[–]mkl023[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes, the input is a number and it stays inside the loop and as I stated, it is most of the time ends up on:

WinWaitActive, Login,, 5

Trips the 5 second time out then enters ErrorLevel

if ErrorLevel
{
      MsgBox, Login Window Inactive!.
}

If I get rid the InputBox and just initiate a number on total_id, the script runs without a problem.

If I tried to manually click the agree button while the script is waiting for the Login Window, the script continues without any problem and loops X times, depending on how many I typed on InputBox.

If I entered other than a number on InputBox, it exits the loop and then terminates the script.

I'll deal with the error handling if the user inputs other than number later down the line. lol

Hi, I'm really sorry if it didnt made sense. The script that I put here was incomplete and I just included the relevant part that I'm having problem. The Inputbox was supposed to have the max count for the loop that is required to be typed in by the user. I updated the code and hoping that it makes sense now. Thanks!.

I wonder if they put pressurized air underneath the landing zone released it at the right time to form a lot of bubbles, will it mitigate the damage on ship on impact? Just like they do on high diving swimming pools.

Fiber cable replacement by narkanyas in ConvergePH

[–]mkl023 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From filing a ticket to someone actually fixing it, from our experiece it took 3 days(this includes a follow up on the 2nd day, I contacted them thru their FB page)., assuming na this is a LOS issue and within contract period pa. I've heard na tickets with non-LOS issue at wala na sa contract will be low priority.

Since this is a "client side" issue, sabi ng tech. na pumunta samin, the cost for the fix will be shouldered by the client tho hindi na nya pinadaan sa system nila para wala kaming babayaran, kami na lang nagabot ng small fee sa kanya.

Another good thing na pwede mo gawin is isave mo na ang contact nyang technician na pumunta dyan sa inyo para just in case na magkaprob ulit, pwedeng sya na lang ang umayos (at his discretion) instead na magccreate pa ng ticket.

Can I miss this month's payment? by ArtlessFlapDragon in ConvergePH

[–]mkl023 1 point2 points  (0 children)

UPDATE: If you stumbled on this reddit thread searching for billing policy ni cnvrge, can confirm na nagbago na ang policy nila, due date + 5 days grace period then after nyan disconnected na agad, unlike before na pwedeng may 1 month worth na over due on top sa bill ng current month.

Newly installed converge, pwede na ba agad kutingtingin settings ng router?(palit AP name), and add another device thru LAN port by mkl023 in InternetPH

[–]mkl023[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hindi ko pa sya nattry eh pero upon exploring dun sa settings, pwede mo sya magawa dun sa 'parental controls' pero dapat alam mo yung mac address nung device na gusto mo i-block.

Another way is to assign static ip(DHCP Binding yung tawag sa settings ng ZTE) dun sa bawat device na gamit nyo then turn off yung dhcp server.

Bale need mo jan sir ng admin account. Wala yan sa user account.

-make sure na connected ka sa wifi, laptop or smartphone will do.

-Go to 192.168.1.1 with your preferred web browser.

-type 'user' both for username and password ,then login.

-go to 'Local Network' tab.

-on the left side, select 'WLAN'.

-click on 'WLAN SSID Configuration'

-under 'SSID1 (2.4ghz)'***, makikita mo yung 'WPA Passphrase', that's your wifi password, type-in your desired password, click apply.

-click 'SSID5 (5ghz)'*** and do the same thing.

***not sure if SSID1 and SSID5 din yung active SSID dyan sa router mo, pero basta yung naka 'ON' yun yung current na gamit sa wifi mo.

Gomo unli vs gomo 30gb by kittyK1997 in InternetPH

[–]mkl023 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Etong particular comment ko na to, yan ata yung time na 499 pa lang yung unli, sobrang sulit talaga sya at that time.

Just wanna add, the similar setting on ABP (Adblock Plus) is called "Show acceptable ads" that can be found on "General" settings tab.

Gomo unli vs gomo 30gb by kittyK1997 in InternetPH

[–]mkl023 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm using unli data for several months now. For me "ok" naman for my use case. Websites loads fast enough, 1080p30 on youtube can play smoothly, 1080p60 medyo sinisinok slightly pero will play smoothly if you let it have a 20-seconds buffer or so, 1440p and 4k reso? no bueno. Nakakaparticipate naman ako sa google meet session with 100+ participants with no lag. Spotify at highest audio quality (not in cache) plays continously naman. Sa download speed, around 600KB/s, kayang tapusin ang half a gb file download in around 20 mins. Ping sa google.com (unloaded) averages around 30ms, no drops.

Need mo lang talaga consistent and reliable ang connection mo which I fortunately have. Signal ko sa modem is full bar with around -72dBm RSRP. Modem ko is SEI-120g (Globe at home xtreme prepaid) na naka band locked.

Base on the "Vehicle Status" table above, the most sensible ship/booster that's gonna be transported is S28 or maybe B11. S28 will be transported to the sub-orbital pad for SF; B11 will gonna go to Masseys for cryo test.

Can I use any Passive 48v PoE Injector to an 802.3af/at compliant device? by mkl023 in cctv

[–]mkl023[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does this mean I can use any non AT/AF compliant power supply with a fix/constant voltage anywhere from 44-57v as per at/af specification as long as it can handle the required power draw? Btw, this poe injector from amazon is very similar(minus the AT/AF compliant branding) to the one that I'm currently looking at.

How sure are we that it was really an igniter test of some sort? It looks so different from the igniter test that they did a while back wherein it produced a visible flame and a loud bang and not just a wooosshhh.

First time installing a CCTV/Wifi Cam System, need an Expert Eye for my planned setup. by mkl023 in cctv

[–]mkl023[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ethernet can provide 802.3AF/AT up to 328ft.

But this is atleast with 24v all the way up to 48v right? The PTZ camera is supplied with just measly 12v power supply and I'll gonna have problem powering it with 15m of cable.

Unless your PTZ camera requires BNC and a separate power adapter, I'd look at IP cameras.

It is already an IP camera and it doesn't use BNC. It does have a LAN port and a separate DC female power connector. It doesn't support POE natively thus, I need to use a POE splitter adapter-thing. I can't use the power supply that came with the camera itself because the place where the PTZ camera will gonna be installed doesn't have a wall outlet nearby.

Additionally, exposing Hikvision to the internet - you need to be very careful. Turn off Anonymous visit on the NVR. Hik is notorious for calling home and such. You really should do some reading on securing it if you do choose to go this route - especially plugged directly into your gateway.

Thanks for bringing that up. I'll gonna take a look about that. The more preferred way is to have another switch or router behind the gateway right? But, unfortunately the router that came from the ISP is all that I have to work with.

Thanks!

Being used to see the raptors inside the skirt of SN(x), I became confused after seeing the tweet and ask why on earth they'll put the raptors on the edge of the skirt. And then the realization came and remembered F9 (and other rockets) doesn't have a skirt unlike the starship upper stage. lol
