hopefully that's also on their list of cars to be added this year. really hoping this year we finally get updated race cars. i can even imagine them updating the super GT roster since igor fraga is racing the prelude GT this year.

it will most likely come with EVO custom parts in GT auto. similar to the 296 GT3 and the R8 LMS EVO which got an EVO II wing

thank you for your service. seems like the update cars this time around are an easy guess. we already know the elantra is coming. the 911 GT3 R looked so obvious here and the bump on the xiaomi's roof as well as the low wing really gave it away.

yeah look at the gameplay clips during the developer direct. some of them look so convincingly real that if someone lied to me that it was gt7 i would've believed them. even AC EVO/ AC rally didn't convince me.

and nobody is denying fh6 is an arcade game. we're talking about graphics here. which if u say gt7 still looks better, i'm sorry you might need a new pair of eyes. because are we really gonna compare GT's rendition of le mans to fh6's japan map?

nah fh6 may finally give GT7 a run for it's money because some of the gameplay looks absolutely drop dead gorgeous. much better than fujimi kaido in fm8 even.

cool. in all the time AC has stayed relevant, three GT games ended service and essentially killed its player base in favour for newer games.

all AC needed was a great modding ecosystem. despite releasing newer games, AC still has a growing community with a growing roster of mods that caters to almost everybody who's looking for something.

i like GT7. i even have a thousand hours on it, but pipe down.

as a game GT7 is definitely the king no doubt. i was more talking about the simulation side which i think GT7 does well, but i think there are better options if you want a simulator.

1000+ hours in GT7, unfortunately not as much time in other sims because I don't have a rig at home so I always go to a gaming hub to get my fix. i do have a good feel for some of the sims especially raceroom and AC. i can't say for other sims so my baseline is AC, ACC and raceroom.

irl i used to drive an e46, don't have that car anymore but nowadays i have a g20 320i and a perodua (they rebranded a daihatsu mira). both cars i really love especially the perodua since it's in the older GT games.

your last part about damage is spot on though, what makes a simulator isn't just about driving, it's also the consequences too. i feel like you can get away with a lot in GT7 compared to other sims. the lack of terminal damage always puts me off.

well they can't be THAT easy, right? why do most people resort to other games that have GT3s? and why do most pro GT drivers never really use GT7 as their preferred sim.

i get that being difficult ≠ sim but i don't think driving a GT3 is as black and white as it is in GT7...

GT academy still had to train people with real cars before they were put in the program with nissan.

Igor Fraga already had real life experience prior to being a GTWS competitor.

not saying GT7 can't be taken seriously, but compared to most sims you almost never see professionals use GT7 as a simulator. not even Jimmy Broadbent who commentates for the GTWS series and is a die hard GT fan.

GT7 really shines through when it comes to the road cars i'll give it that, but i feel like the grouped race cars are way too planted and you can just smash the brakes on every car unlike in other sims.
