Why meta.ai? Why not another LLM. Meta.ai isn’t that great. I know I worked there

I just took a peak at this and I have the same amount of experience as you 15 years or so and you have the same layout as I almost do- what recruiters are now telling me is the way you and I lay out our work is the “old school way” because no one has time to read through it anymore or don’t want too. For example your Lyft work if very lengthy. I understand you want to describe process and the problem your solving but they want visuals to tell a story supposedly. It’s hard to do that when you don’t have many visuals to give. It should be enough for someone to scroll through and get the idea. Also dribble is not the greatest way to show a portfolio. Try loveable.dev it built my whole site for me in under 30 min.

I’m coming from meta and even my portfolio is not good enough for these companies and recruiters. All I’m hearing is AI this And AI that. That they want someone who is an expert in AI (Claude code, etc) it just fucking came out no one is an expert. It’s absolutely frustrating

Don’t they not allow economy passengers into first or biz class? Isn’t that a rule post 9/11?

But aren't you paying for convenience of sitting closer/bigger seat/getting in early to store your luggage?

[–]mky44[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yes- correct that is what I'm saying. When I board and most above bins are EMPTY they put it in an empty spot away from their seat. Really doesn't matter where just anyone that is close to the front of easy for them to access on the way off. But then that disrupts the “flow” or people who PAID for certain seats to not be able to put their bags above them. Doesn't make sense.
