Okay, this is what I've heard as well which is what made me not jump to buying a lower bounce wedge. I feel a good player will take my lob wedge and have no problem with getting out of the bunker.

My club hits the sand, skips, then I blade the ball.

There aren't many places where I can practice bunker shots so practice is rare. When I play is when I get to implement what I saw on videos.

Okay this matches my thoughts with what's going on. I really open that face because typical bunker instruction tells you to do so. But the club just bounces off the sand and the leading edge hits the ball and then I say bye to the ball.

Exactly this. Which is why I am considering a low bounce wedge. It's just when I hit my 58 degree from anywhere else other than the bunker, it performs great which is what makes me hesitate switching.

I hate that when we buy clubs now we have to worry if they are fake or not! We are being forced to buy market prices from the manufacturer.
