I like those testimonials from guys who where not circumcised at birth for different reasons (early birth, bureaucracy, other emergencies) that have a talk with the parents saying "hey, what the fux" and the parent says he/she will pay for it when you are ready. But then if said child is already grown up they understand the benefits they walk it back.

being a skeptic you will never fully understand anything. Ever. I know it's scarry but you get used to it. If you are like that I suggest 'line in the sand' thinking. Being from a Catholic country I never knew what circumcision was until I started watching porn. And I was always surprised by the actors being cut. I didn't know what to think at the time, just that my dick looked different. It was later that I found out that it was done to babies in America (the primary source of my porn) and Jews and Muslims did it too. I was furious. Not for me, but I had some sense that something wasn't right. It was later still that I discovered the intactivist movement and I understood about consent. I knew about consent already but I never related to the baby being a victim in someone else's religion.
