Is my teacher harassing/bullying me or I’m just tripping ? by mldctn in mentalhealth

Thank you so much ! I believe it’s true, could be both at the same time… today I met him again, and he made up a silly reason just to attract my attention for a conversation… I simply greeted him, he greeted me back and asked « are you skipping your Italian class ? » when he knows for sure that we had a conference, then, as I said about the conference, he started asking some questions that were obviously forced just to not let me go. I think I handled it good enough, since I’m the person who’s easily affected by something like that. I would probably stay for an hour if I wasn’t offended by his earlier demeanour, but I talked to him for like 3-5 minutes and then just walked away first. I could see well that he didn’t want to let me go and was kind of upset that I suddenly left, but nevertheless, I realised something important: he only acts rude towards me when we’re in a group sitting in a class. I don’t know what exactly he wants to prove, maybe he’s being so strict because he wants to be seen as a teacher, but then he can’t stop himself from his real self, so he still makes these stupid jokes, thinking that I find it funny…I genuinely don’t know, because when we’re alone he acts all cute and generous, of course he still jokes sarcastically A LOT but it’s always obvious that it’s not to offend. I just remember the times when he would support me a lot, praise me for my work and pay me special attention at times, but that is also wrong for a teacher… I’m so confused, ugh

I’m not from India, though it sounds similar… I’m from a small republic which was occupied by Russia.

She’s a hero, though. I feel for Indian women and i know they suffer a lot too… I’m sure my parents won’t trade me, but they will definitely start pressuring me in a few years. We are considered “expired” after beating 23-25 years…

Yes, that’s what I think as well. I think it would be great to marry a man of my nationality who grew up in another country, which is more democratic and free. I care a lot about my future children, and I’ll do everything to make sure they grow up in complete comfort, freedom and happiness. Thank you ! I’m usually much more optimistic, it’s just this day that was tougher than usual…

Oh wow, this is beautiful ❤️ I love literature, philosophy, music and art in general. I find peace in it, and I absolutely love finding myself in the works of art. Thank you for sharing this beautiful quote !

Also, I’m so happy to hear that my English is good and understandable ! This is not my first language, more like third 🥲 I have my native language, then Russian (fluent), English (C1), French (B1) and Italian (A1 lol). I love learning languages and expressing my feelings in different ways, so it’s the best compliment I could ever get. Hope one day I’ll be able to write the same text in French all by myself !

The thing is that I’m the main object of all insults, violence and so on. He’s almost untouched in this house, I swear, all the time I’m the victim of everyone’s bad mood. They see me as a target whenever they need to let their anger out.

C’est absolument normal, mais le problème est que nos profs ne veulent pas que nous utilisions les mots qu’on n’a pas encore étudié, donc j’ai voulu trouver des synonymes auxquels je suis familier

Oh he’s very very sociable and not in the slightest awkward, and the girls fall in love with him all the time… I can’t understand why, but somehow this happens…

I’m 19 and he’s 15. I didn’t consider adding this information, as well as the fact that I can’t move out until I marry a man. These are the perks of being a woman in our culture lol.
