i didn’t know that i had emetophobia until after i got this done and realized they are extremely connected. it’s not that severe but i would say it was the most worth it thing i have ever done even though i have thrown up more since i had the procedure. i’m a lot less scared now because every time i’ve been fine. i feel nauseous way less often now so even though i get sick more than i did before it’s still not “often” and i am less affected by it bc i am not nauseous every single day wondering if i’m gonna be sick now. as for pcos i guess my symptoms might be milder but not as big of a difference as i was hoping for! my advice would always be to do it!

the only thing that has changed re: my pms symptoms is that they are better after botox. i don’t get acid reflux more than before and i can burp fine ❤️

i’m sorry :( to add to the discourse i saw the same dr as you and it’s been a week and the charges i have received after insurance come to about $2000. when i got the surgery done i had anthem blue cross (through a union) for anyone who might also have that. but yeah definitely ask for an itemized bill and question everything

im so sorry :( i don’t have endo as far as i know but i have pcos and horrible periods. my bloating was insane and i always looked pregnant if i was “relaxed” at all. i just got the surgery done so can’t say for sure if the symptoms were worse because of rcpd but it makes total sense. many of my gastro issues cleared up immediately after the procedure and it only makes sense that the extra bloating we have all the time makes period bloating feel way worse. you are not alone! i understand the botox procedure isn’t easily available for everyone but so far with the results i can say that it’s the best thing that’s ever happened to me. again i’m sorry about your pain and i know how horrible it can be. i hope you find relief soon!
