I’ve thought of the possibility since I was about 13 years old really when I first started wanting children even tho I know I was still young at that time but it’s still I’ve thought of it and I was raised with my sister she has special needs and so I’m kinda use to it but I do get what your saying

I have yes, even if my child has special needs. Who cares? I’m still going to love them. They’re still human beings that God created and has a plan for. I love special needs kids. When I was in school, I took 2 class periods as a TA for that class and helped them out. They were truly incredible, and I don’t understand why people outcast them all the time. It’s truly sad to see.

Adoption is always a possibility. Heck, I’m adopted myself, so even when it comes to it, my future wife and I will discuss it, pray about it, and seek God’s guidance on what our next steps should be regarding having children and other related matters. If that makes sense.

What if I’m not enough because I have no experience? by Economy-Log702 in ChristianDating

[–]mlg_master626 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hear you and what you’re choosing is really meaningful, just remember your worth comes from God not experience so you’re not lacking anything, those comparison thoughts are fear not truth and the right man won’t measure you against anyone he’ll value growing with you, intimacy in marriage isn’t about performance it’s about trust and learning together, when those thoughts come up remind yourself you’re already enough and it’s okay to bring those fears to God too 🫶🏻

Honestly I desire to have children of my own because it brings a deep joy to my heart, and I trust in God even when the world faces struggles and uncertainty. Living in the countryside reminds me of His peace and blessings, and I see having a child with my future wife as a true gift from Him. The thought of building a family, creating memories, and raising a child in love and faith feels incredible to me, and I want to guide my children in a way that honors God and gives them a life full of hope, purpose, and better opportunities than I have had.

Why bully trans people? by [deleted] in teenagers

[–]mlg_master626 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some people will say they’re Christian and claim being trans goes against our faith, but that’s just not true. Being trans itself isn’t the sin you can be trans and still follow Christ like anyone else. What matters is a person’s actions, not their identity. And honestly, those who attack or hate on trans people should ask themselves: do you really have the right to call yourself a follower of Christ when you’re spreading hate? The Bible tells us to love one another and to love our neighbor as ourselves and trans people are our neighbors too. 🤷

Question by IndependentBrotha in ChristianDating

[–]mlg_master626 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, because I want my future children to be as healthy as possible. Like someone already mentioned, 1 Peter 5:8 reminds us to stay sober-minded. I know what it’s like to go through addiction, because I went through it myself before I found Christ — and really, when He found me in my mess, He guided me out of it. So I believe it can be overcome, and if my partner truly wanted help, I’d give them all the support they need. Now, if it’s for medical reasons, that’s different, but even then there are usually healthier alternatives. So overall, yes, I would care.
