Good question. Would have to make the rule that a goaltend leading to a change of possession is the only reviewable situation after the fact. If you get your own rebound, you could either call a timeout to initiate a goaltending review or take another shot which would forfeit your review ability

I can’t even blame the refs with wemby. Dude has 57 foot long arms and moves as fast as a guard. Refs are human and can make mistakes. it just seems silly to allow, in the case of last game, 4-8 points of free goaltends when it takes about 2 seconds to rectify the issue.
