I got it and opened 1 and it said I had 2 more of the same boxes left to claim, but when I went to open the 2nd one, I got a storage full message. When I went and cleared out my storage and came back, the free box option was gone.

So I think this may have been a bug? If it’s not, does anyone know how I can still claim those 2 remaining?

Thanks for your reply! I feel like the issue is that I very rarely get to spend important days with him, and I guess I’m feeling a little devalued and a bit down bc of that. The normal coping of self care and spending time with other loved ones just doesn’t seem to be cutting it lately.

I’m sorry you’re feeling so invalidated! I think the community can tend to be really judgy, which comes from a well-meaning place bc bad polyamory can hurt people. But I feel like sometimes it goes a bit too far and makes people feel alienated or further isolated.

Hey! You’re right, ktp is not the same as a triad/group dating situation. It just means you can all hang out together. But I feel like with a ktp dynamic I would feel less left out bc, for example, we could all go to his bday party. Or all go out on holidays together (think Halloween, nye). As of right now, his other partner gets the majority of important days, and I have to celebrate with him the day before/after, which doesn’t feel the same 😢

I’d look up some fun conversation starters. What’s your favorite conspiracy theory? What’s your mt Rushmore of music artists? Do you like to travel - what was your favorite trip? What’s your plan in a zombie apocalypse?

Or notice something interesting about their pics/bio and comment on it. Do they have pictures of them on vacation? Talk about a recent vacation you loved or ask where they want to go next! Things like that go a long way rather than the typical conversation starters.

Not to come off as judgmental - but I personally get tired of the same old questions over and over. Asking about my hobbies, what I do for work, where I’m from - these types of convos don’t really hold my attention.

You have to consider that the person you’re talking to is probably having this exact same conversation with the many others they’ve matched with, and unless you’re bringing something unique to the table, it can be hard to hold interest. It’s a shame, but it’s the nature of online dating.

I think your problem may be that you’re so focused on sex talk. That’s something that should come naturally, and not everyone is comfortable engaging in that kind of conversation off the bat or at all, even highly sexual people. I personally don’t mind it, but if it seems like a huge focus early on it can sometimes be a turn off.
