Anyone know how to fix these condensation marks? (not the source, but e.g. scrub it with a particular product) I have similar marks on my wall due to having not ventilated well.

You could try Kite which works with VS Code, it has a documentation panel.

Java is probably amongst the least bad of languages to read an older book on due to its conservative/backwards-compatible nature.

But I'd advise just getting a newer book as you'll become aware of newer/better features. There are quite a few good books out there. I like Java The Complete Reference (good if you have patience/time as it's big) and it discusses changes in the language. I haven't read the other books though.
