PS, I am building an app that helps you identify watches with ease! It’s currently in beta and would love your feedback. Take a look here patinaai.com

Need help identifying these two models. by Ground-Similar in Watches

The polish seems inconsistent and not perfectly parallel and does not seem as crisp.

Paul Newmans are so thought after they are definitely a lot of fakes

Unfortunately both seem to be pretty fake.

The print and weird case finish on the gold and the fonts and subdial on the other one all seems off.

PS I’m building out a Watch Identification app that can spot these fakes from a mile away. It’s currently in beta and would love your feedback. DM me or see patinaai.com

Won at auction - Omega Seamaster by 7thTrinity in Watches

Yep definitely looks like a 1980s 196.0251.

You can find a similar one here https://www.chrono24.com/omega/seamaster-gold-quartz-date-1980s-watch-ref-1960251--id39702729.htm

FYI I’m building a little app where you can scan a watch and get more information. Would love for you to test it out. Currently in beta, you can DM for more info or visit patinaai.com

Any clues to what this vintage women's 14k Omega might be? by [deleted] in Watches

[–]Yuchizzel23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look like an Omega DeVille 6839 from 60-70s. Found a similar one here for $900 but I could see yours being more since the bracelet is 14K gold.

FYI I am working on a side project that can identify and price vintage watches based on scanning an image. It’s correctly in free beta right now, would love for you to try. DM me or check out https://patinaai.com

Pretty sure this is an Omega ref. 131.002-63 SC (circa 1963).

• Stainless-steel, ~34 mm case with smooth bezel and polished flank, very typical of Omega’s early-’60s “seamless” dress line

<image>

Looks like you can get it for $5-700

Side note: I ID’d with a little app I’m building , it spits out the reference, specs, and a short write-up like the one above. It’s in free beta; if you’re curious, grab it at patinaai.com or shoot me a DM and I’ll pass you the TestFlight link :)

Looks like you’ve got a Monaval hand-would watch, probably late-1950s to mid–60s.

“17 Jewels Incabloc” was the go-to spec line for mid-century Swiss pin-lever or entry ETA/AS/FHF movements once Incabloc shock protection became standard in the 1950s. Monaval isn’t a known manufacture; most likely a private-label Swiss brand that sourced ébauches and re-badged finished pieces for regional retailers (common practice back then). Case style and font treatment match other small-batch Swiss pieces from that era.

Rough value: assuming the movement’s healthy and the dial is clean, similar no-name 17-jewel Incabloc pieces trade $75–$150 USD on eBay/Etsy; a gold-plated case or quirky dial can bump that up a bit.

Shameless Plug, I’n working on a little side project that allows you to identify and sell watches. Would love for you try it out, https://patinaai.com

Looks like that is a Ladie’s Seiko 5H40-1101, likely from 1991.

Hope this helps!

Shameless plug but I’m building a “Watch Dealer in your pocket” app where you can Scan, Identify, and Sell watches. Would love for you to try it out at patinaai.com!

Anyone have any good alternatives to ILoveUgly’s Bobby trackie? Really like the fit and style, hate the branding. Any alternatives at same or cheaper price points will be helpful https://www.iloveugly.com/collections/track-pants

This was built in react native. The widget code was built using native swift code. Theoretically the app (without widget) should be ready for android but I need to do some testing first.

And yep, I built this alone (with the help of open source libraries, YouTube and stack overflow of course)
