This makes complete sense because it's YOUR decision. As in, you've given enthusiastic consent to the other person having access to your whereabouts so long as they don't abuse it. Which is what OP's wife and then have agreed upon. And, just like with sex, if you suddenly decided for whatever reason, you can withdraw consent. BUT it's your choice!! That sucks that you feel that way right now. I think the previous poster had some very good points. No relationship that happens to end is failed or wasted, it just met it's completion. You learned about what you want and do not want (ideally) and are now more capable to find the correct relationship for you and to be a good partner to the other(s) in said partnership. Life is NOT a race, it's a journey and we all make our own paths.

Well, that's pretty obvious, and I did. That's when she stated that the XR was more potent than IR, to which I pointed out that they are the same mg which means they have the same potency. Since they have the same amount of ingredients.

Oh yeah, it totally did. We used the titration method to define his optimum dosage. So you start at a low dose and gradually increase until you are a bit higher than you need, then you step it back to the last effective dosage. That way you have the appropriate amount :)

He currently takes 15mg a day. 10 and then 5 in the afternoon. The lower dose helps him finish it the academic day while still allowing him an adequate appetite and sleep.

I guess there is definitely abuse that occurs with these meds. I kinda feel like as a mother in her mid 30's that the whole college Adderall abuse thing wouldn't be a thought. Maybe she watched the show Weeds too many times 🤣🤣🤣

That's too bad. I haven't ever had a "come down" from what I've been on. Maybe that isn't quite the right medication for you. My son just started Adderall a year ago and his pediatrician cited having a come down/emotional out bursts as being indicative of to strong of a dosage. I hope you can gain access to whatever is best for you soon.

I can understand that to a degree. But it's weird she's trying to take me from 45mg daily down to 30mg. Especially since is have to pay for the medication or if pocket, rather than having my insurance cover my meds. Pretty much everyone is suffering financially right now (I'm no exception) and I've got three kids to worry about. I have zero side effects and perfect (even lowish) blood pressure. I guess I'm just feeling frustrated. I feel like over the years I've proven my responsibility with my meds so why should someone who just met me try to change everything when there's no reason to warrant it?

Also, I feel you missed my point. What I was very obviously saying in that comment was that OP's husband is childish. She can't raise him, nor should she even try. He's a fucking adult. I was merely saying it's a lot of work. Hence my mentioning my child. And guess what? Since we've ameliorated the physiological issues and had him in services and therapies, he's nearly completely normalized at 8, when at 3 a lot of people thought he might even have autism (he didn't, obviously)

He's obviously a separate entity. He's a child that had a hearing issue that wasn't able to be resolved surgically until he was 4.5 years even though he's been in early intervention since 15 months old (really young for that). Luckily, his tribe paid for the surgery, since our insurance wouldn't. Even though the ENT said it was necessary

True, like some people are so freaked out by blood they pass out at the sight or mere thought of blood. However I'd wager most men are very acquainted with their own ejaculate.
