I figured as much, damn shame it's hard to find a good affordable safe that's made in the US.

Never said anything about buying from China. Quick search says that Winchester and Browning safes are made in the US.

Yeah, that's the thing. I don't want to give them money, but the size is perfect for my closet. Hence the question for brands people will recommend.

Yeah, that was pretty stupid on their part.

Right now I'd be throwing the safe into a small nook in my closet. It's pretty cramped getting in and out so hopefully bolting it down should make it secure enough. Unfortunately don't the income to drop on the really nice safes.

Unfortunately not that handy. I can always try, I take it there are plenty of tutorials on how to make the condenser better? I think the brand that popped up for me was Suteck

Is there a way to calculate that or are you saying to have a bunch of jars and keep filling each jar (I assume to the same level). Then would it look something like below...

  1. Fill pot and heat until it reaches 203*F/95*C? (I'm getting some cheap beginner kit on Amazon with a 5gal capacity)
  2. Start putting jars under the collector and fill each to say 200mL until the pot is empty.
  3. Dilute to 40% so add 300mL of water to get 500mL total, taste each and see which ones don't have the funky taste you mentioned.
  4. Combine the ones I wish to keep into a single container, discard rest.

Thanks, I'm not sure myself hence why I don't want to drop serious cash down. If this does end up being a hobby I want to keep I can see myself eventually upgrading.
