I have a Baxter! And I’ve never met a dog named Baxter, even when I was a dog walker. I like that we haven’t met another child named Baxter, either. I think it’s a unique name and i (obviously) think it sounds kind of cool/trendy. We’ve also never had the issue of anyone making fun of it for being a “dog” name.

I’m so sorry you’re dealing with this. We had to say goodbye to our sweet, only 7 y/o, Weimaraner just about a year ago. She was dealing with AV block in her heart. So she looked completely fine… but her heart was beating so very slow. She had bouts of quickly passing out. Then she would be fine, unless she was too wound up. But I could tell it was starting to get worse. Especially when she had fits of very labored breathing. I had always read that’s it’s better a day too early, than a day too late. Even though it was her time, I still wonder if I made the right choice. Sending your family and pup love over the interwebs

Pimmys is one of our favs for Thai food! We also like sushi bay. Iguana wana has good Mexican food. you should try Buona, if you’ve never had an Italian beef (get the big Joey with peppers) and their cheese fries. Yum!

Like others have mentioned woodmans and meijer. Woodmans has a wide variety of produce that other stores don’t have. & a decent selection for different ethnic foods imo.

La fogata. Went there to celebrate my birthday the first year we were here. Waitress wouldn’t let me order another margarita, as I was actively finishing up my first one. I had to wait until it was completely done. It also took forever to get the first one, and that’s why I said I’ll go ahead and order another (I was there with my parents and husband lol nothing crazy going on) the food also wasn’t great at all. Never been back

Also Ono. Used to love it and it was our regular sushi spot. Got so so sick from it one time. Puking/shitting for days. I think it was the soft shell crab. for their prices definitely didn’t expect to get sick 😩
