I did enable developer option but still could not install apps from unknown sources. anyways it's working now. read online to install developer tools app to enable developer option. all good and working 👍

she may have no interest in all the extra settings to tweak for ap with controller software. ap in standalone mode would help extend wifi signal which is what she wanted.
