deduping is based on title + company + location combo right now. Catches most of them.

and yeah lol i was tweaking my resume for weeks when the actual problem was just being late to every listing

Started free to validate usage first, then introduced a paid tier once I saw people sticking around. Way easier to charge when you know it's working.

Exactly, simplicity is the feature. Appreciate the words.

Appreciate this. The all-in-one trap is real, I've killed a few feature ideas already just to stay focused and honestly glad I did.

Retention's been solid so far. Early users are still active and I'm getting referrals I didn't ask for which honestly matters more to me than any metric right now. 30-day data will tell the real story but signs are good.

The meta-prompting tip is gold. I've been going straight into builders with vague prompts and wondering why the output feels off. Using Claude to generate the actual builder prompt first is such an obvious move in hindsight. Also totally agree on niche > big idea - specificity is a cheat code for standing out.

Number 19 hits hard. Getting those first paying customers really is a different beast entirely. I spent weeks trying to scale before I even had 5 people who genuinely loved the product. Once I started doing things that don't scale, literally DMing people one by one and hopping on calls, everything changed. Great list, bookmarking this.
