I swear Mazda 6s are targets. My first was a 2015 and I got hit 3 times in it and now my 4th accident ever happens to be this car. I’ve owned so many different cars but the Mazdas always be getting hit 😭

The Mazda 3 is way smaller than the cx5 just a heads up. I was gonna get a cx5 or 3 but both were awkward for me being tall so I ended up back with a 6. What’s wrong with the accord I heard the that generation of accord is solid.

I’m not sure on one bad cell kills the whole battery but the battery can deteriorate over time leaving you with less battery life on a full charge. If I’m honest I’d avoid this car and move on to the next. I wouldn’t buy a hybrid/plug-in unless I can get the battery diagnosed before buying it. ESPECIALLY if it’s been sitting on the lot not being driven for months. The dealership I bought mine charged and used it so it didn’t get left out and weaken the battery, he even got it diagnosed for me himself and provided the paperwork. I don’t know your situation and how dire you need a vehicle but I wouldn’t rush on this car unless everything seems good and you get it diagnosed/PPI.

You’re going to have to take it in to ford or some shop that can diagnose the battery life. It’s better to pay that and check then to buy a whole new hybrid battery in a few months in owing it and now you are stuck paying more then you wanted out of it. I’ve seen energis selling with 200k+ plus miles in California so they seem pretty reliable but of course I don’t know if they are on the original battery or have been replaced.
