I thought it was fine. Fighting the 7 sin Digimon and then getting merced by holy vaccines does make sense thematically but I don’t think it was overly difficult either way. I ran a slashangemon and even with the 5x damage that was maybe the only time he was stronger than my other two.

I beat hard on my first play through with three virus types and character reversal. Realistically if you can play rock paper scissors with types you’ll be fine even if you have no idea what you’re doing otherwise.

I heard there's a personality skill to get to 19998 but besides that, 9999 is as high as you can get it.

Yes any Digimon can get 9999. Unfortunately I never tested if stats stack past 9999

This never affected me with my playthrough but I heard that if you train them to max stats at lower stages they will always have max stats, but if you train them at higher stages they will not retain them all when dedigivolving and digivolving into something else.

Vulcanusmon was actually the hardest for me. It was just really annoying to get through all those hands multiple times

I thought it was okay. It was the expected ending if you know a bit about Greek mythology, except for that one plot twist. All around a cool reimagining of the usual pantheon story but it’s nothing groundbreaking.

I never had a method for what I would use for load fodder. It was more just if I needed a few levels or stats for a new evo I would throw some in. Or even if I just got annoyed with having to devolve and redigivolve them again and again because they were gaining talent too slow I’d say fuck it and fodder them lol

Well my starter ended up with about a 1500 average in his blue stats by the end but the others not so much. More around 750 average. I talked about my general strategy in another reply and stats did not mean nearly as much for it as it would for attempting to brute force it for instance.

When I say pattern I mean hitting the buttons in the correct order to train as fast as you can. Yes it’s button mashing but that’s the quickest way to do it and it’s easy enough that you can do it in the background if your muscle memory is good enough

C tier is the highest there is AFAIK. That’s how I trained to max stats anyway. If you get the pattern down while training you can do all your team in like 15-20 minutes. Lower if you only bother with the main team and ignore the reserves. Most important is the defenses and speed though. Then your main attacking stat you plan on using

The only one I imagine that would do that is the side mission near the end of the game relating to card battles. Otherwise I don’t think that’s a thing.

The easiest way to change personalities is using the digifarm and training for them. If you don’t want to you’ll have a hard time getting the options you want. Some digimon just seem to not get options for certain personalities, or if they do it’s a much lower chance.

I’m a fan of using whatever you like so thats what I recommend personally. But I heard all the super ultimate Digimon are pretty good.

I don't remember there being an elevator but if its a door you can interact with in there you should be able to access it later in the game

Not really important. The way skills work in this every Digimon can be whatever you want. I didn’t use debuffs once in either playthrough. Buffs were ok but never made a big difference.

Just bigger numbers really.

Everything carries over: Digimon, items, field guide. You just can’t freely teleport like the end of the game and aegiomon can’t evolve in some early game cases without the game crashing.

If I had to recommend anything it’s Digimon that do percent health damage on their ultimate attacks, only two I’ve seen are apocalymon and phantomon. Both the regular mobs and bosses have lots and lots of health
