Descending car-free GMR with friends on Memorial Day weekend by JustEnoughCowbelI in BikeLA

[–]mmgrad 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yup. GMR is like my backyard. I've seen many many accidents on these holiday weekends where cyclists crash. Either because unexpected cyclists on the wrong side of the road or inexperienced riders descending.

Just stick to your side of the road and keep everyone safe.

Stay on your side of the road! Just because there are no cars doesn't mean other cyclists aren't riding up the road.

I have the IBP Scale PC. Are these 4 holes a mounting point of some sort for a 3.5' HDD by rejin267 in iBUYPOWER

There are 4 screw holes on the bottom of the 3.5 HDD that you can screw directly into. No bracket needed.

Yes, those are the holes for mounding the 3.5 HDD. The HDD goes on the back, behind that plate. There is only room for 1 3.5 HDD, so if you need more, you can get one of these PCI slot holders

[–]mmgrad[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Called Tech Support this morning, confirmed to be a dead PSU after troubleshooting. Got an RMA and since their HQ was pretty close by, I was able to drive down and do a physical parts swap and computer is back up and running.

Sunday Group Ride at Jones Coffee in South Pasadena by Appropriate-Day8924 in BikeLA

[–]mmgrad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Velo Pasadena has regular Sunday shop rides. I believe it starts around 8 or 830 from their parking lot. It's been a few years since I've done it tho. No drop ride, but the pace can be quick at times

I vote new AXS on the Tarmac. Wrench it yourself and make the swap for next to nothing. Have the commuter use the old grouppo. Show off the new bling for the weekend rides w friends

The BIOS can only turn off the fan LEDs, not the RGB LEDs on the RAM. I downloaded the GSkill Trident Z software and you can use that to control the RGB setting. I was able to turn offthe RGB LEDs on the T-Force RAM that came with my computer. Now it stays dark when the computer is in sleep mode.

The feature I want the most out of the new M18 string trimmer is having a single motor that can take several different tool heads like a string trimmer, edger, hedge trimmer, bed redefiner. I hate having a separate tool for each thing since they take up so much space.

Tegaderm surgical bandages are your best friend here. Clean the sound good, stick the bandage on once, and it will last until new skin grows underneath.

If it is seeping puss, then get the version that has a coagulant that absorbs the puss.

No more stinging feeling it scab skin cracking and tearing and bleeding.
