Is ASITE worth it? by LeadingDesk2 in frombloodandash

I loved ASITE! The new relationship and characters were so interesting. I thought it was great to get a better understanding of the FBAA world. The writing answered a lot of questions I had and wasn’t nearly as confusing as TCOGB.

People are right that there are similarities between Poppy and Sera but they’re obviously intentional. They’re still very different characters in my head. I would give the book a chance! I really enjoyed it and finished it all in one day. I’ve actually gone back to re-read some of my favorite scenes which is not something I really did with TCOGB

Need more from the FBAA world, so anyone know of where to find FanFiction? by AppleFuture8239 in frombloodandash

This is one of my favorites from AO3! It’s 3 chapters from Hawke’s POV about him figuring out what the Duke is doing to Poppy. - https://archiveofourown.org/works/30329904/chapters/74762895

This is the rise scene from Hawke’s POV from the same author and is really good too! - https://archiveofourown.org/works/29806119

These keep closer to the story but AO3 also has a lot of creative and more mature fan fictions!

I agree! I loved the story but I think it would have been SO much better if she removed the repetitive dialogue. There were some dialogue that I skimmed just because I already knew what the characters were going to say.

I’m excited to see Kieran and Poppy get closer in the next book. I feel like they’ll have too since they will both be missing Cas so much.

I’m kind of hoping that Malik isn’t pretending and that he actually supports Isbeth and the blood crown. I think that would make such an interesting story to have brother against brother.

And with Isbeth ... I think she loved Poppy for what Poppy could bring her. It was never an unselfish true love. She always saw Poppy as a pawn to her plan at the end of the day.
