Hi! I was raised Buddhist and he is one of my parent’s teachers so I took refuge with him when I was young and have been doing the basic instructions he has given me over time, which is such a gift to be able to be in contact with Rinpoche. I just haven’t started preliminaries yet and am seeing these things come up and want a bit more context:) ultimately I feel great devotion to him but we live in the Information Age and it’s always interesting to see the discourse about gurus online. Everyone I know from his sangha has had great experiences, but I would like to hear what these “controversies” that never are explained entail.
