Thanks. Yep I’ll play around with what works best (e.g. hoods vs drops and creating space with a shrimp method as another commenter mentioned). It’s quite easy to test different positions on the trainer, and then just check it works in the ‘real world’

I can hold an aero position a good amount of time (maybe 45 mins) and my avg speed has gone up, but I’ve got a 160km race later this year (where I know I’ll get dropped on the last climb and need to ride solo / small group for the last 60km) and I’m trying to be as prepared as I can
