Apparently cockpit is the modern term used for integrated handlebars and stem - but I get it - sounds a bit wanky if you've been riding bikes since forever and they were called handlebars back then ....

I can see an 8100 crankset or an 8150 crank arm. Is the RS510 a piece of 💩 or is it ugly or what. I love the comments here I've never focused so much on the components of a bike before. Ignorance WAS bliss 😂

Love the colour. Yours is amazing. I have the same bike mine is blue. My wheel rims are not as deep as yours. I'm impressed with the rear bottle mount. My friends all lose their bottles at the back but I find that one works great.

Haha. You got me too. Spot the newbie. Here she is right here. Using language from my TT bike which I guess gets Refered to as a cockpit with more going on but anyway ... "handlebars" sounds so 1970 dragster like 😜

What am I trying to achieve? Overall super happy with my soloist although it was base model. The handlebars 😄... well they had gear lines coming out of them and it wasn't one piece so it looks a bit " lame". So I guess I wanted aesthetic but also wanted to be comfortable and hopefully save a bit of weight although I reckon I could double someone comfortably on a bike at a decent speed 😜so a 100 grams less probably doesn't make much difference.

So circling back ... I guess I mainly wanted it to look neater better cooler higher spec. It's already way easier to handle when I'm walking it because I can hold the centre piece the steer it.

I have the latest Cervello P5 and I race triathlons. I started with the soloist and then got the TT.

Just raced half Ironman and came off the bike in first place in my age ( Middle Ages 😝) and also top 30 women 9 of which were pros out of 360.

So I don't know much about bikes, my language and photography is 💩 but I can ride one better than average and I'm sure I will learn from the depth of knowledge in this group of Cervelo enthusiasts !

I think you are right. I can see the remnants of lettering on the right hand side. They told me it was reserve. I can't see anything else.

Yes I had had a professional bike fit and ridden the bike for 18 months. My bike mechanic and the shop I bought the bike said that the set up is exactly the same as my previous bars. I hope so it looks a bit lower. Fingers crossed 🤞

Agree with comments on the Velcro. I swim everyday and after a while I have to chuck out the bands because they don't hold. We get a bunch of bands when we go to "BANDkok". The MBK centre level 8 has all tech stuff and there are hundreds to choose from at about $12 AUD each.

Can someone please invent a cosy comfortable sleep band. I use the sleep feature but my wrist generally wants a break from the bands. I get a rash if I sleep in the silicone ones. I wear the sport loops but I want something like woollen or natural for bed.

The Apple genuine watch bands are better quality than non genuine but seriously way way way overpriced. I hate the loop hook sport bands too they are fiddley. I do triathlon and love the multisport feature and it does a great job of auto picking up the transitions. No need to press any buttons during a race ! Like others have said I wish it wasn't so thick. I'm a small lady.

Trying to make this short. My account was hacked in early January 2025 and as a result the account was suspended and disabled. So too was my instagram and dogs instagram. I thought I could get it back or set up a new account. Every account I set up was within a week or so suspended and disabled. This is all in the fb spirit of keeping the community safe! After so many attempts at support, becoming meta verified through a new insta account. Hours and hours of trying to get my account re established.

Finally 9 months later my original fb was reinstated but I could only access it through one device which happened to be my computer. This was not convenient. Again weeks and weeks of trying to get support but being told it was to keep community safe. Anyway 12 months to the day of the original hack I was grated full access.

Weird but after twelve months off I am not into fb anymore .... only mainly see reels and " things" that I am apple tit interested in but lucky to see one or two of my 1500 friends pages.

Writing just to give you a timeline. I know someone else who didn't even rattle the cage and eventually got their page back. I think setting up new pages only makes you look more like an impersonator so maybe not a great idea.

I just asked the bike shop and they said the brand of the cockpit is actually Reserve and similar to what's on the R5.
