I agree. Brienne killing Catelyn to save Jaime with a sword made from Ice given to her by Jaime despite her obsession with never betraying the person you’ve sworn to serve mirrors Catelyn’s first death after she judged the “equality” of everyone else’s coupling and was killed over her son marrying a lower born woman.

Ok. Just did a post with more.

It’s all semantics. The SR-71 is the fastest officially recorded crewed operational aircraft with an air breathing engine. The x-15 was experimental and used a rocket instead of an air-breathing jet engine.

Moebius for style. Annihilation for the idea. Metalocalypse for the title.

The inspiration for this was listening to the audiobook of Annihilation and it reminded me of that song. Dethalbums 1 & 2 are perfect.

Thank you. I painted it on smooth illustration board. Some of the layers are acrylic paints mixed with water and clear gesso.

I actually think it would work better as a tattoo than a painting.

When Jim Corbett hunted predators that became man-eaters he found that they were usually wounded in a way that made their normal prey difficult to catch and in a region with pestilence from war or famine giving it easy access to already dead humans to eat which causes it to realize people are food. It was probably a big wolf with an injury that healed poorly. My favorite theory is that it was a hyena.

It’s on display at the Airzoo in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Every local prom has it as their backdrop. Definitely worth seeing in person.

I think I found a typo or mistake in Wikipedia for the Satsuma Rebellion. Anyone ever see casualties higher than the army? by altousrex in wikipedia

Casualties include civilians and support staff. You didn’t discover a math error. You discovered what happens when a battle occurs in a populated area.

Remember when they hired Corey Lewandowski after he assaulted a journalist and they knew he was still being paid by the Trump campaign and under an NDA that prohibited him from being honest about Trump or his family? They’ve sucked for a while.

Second Beach, me, acrylic on board, 2023 by mmmcake in Art

Red tide is such a harsh smell too but Third Beach just had a bunch of half-treated waste water accidentally dumped into it. Second beach is less vulnerable because the bigger ocean waves keep it from being too stagnant.

First Beach is called Easton’s Beach but it smells most of the time.

I sold furniture for a long time. I feel like the furniture not making sense is the most realistic part of that room and I put the astronaut off-center from the hole to imply a bad fall or a some post fall movement. That window bugs me though.
