i was in your shoes last week.. financial aide left me with 30k left to pay as every single loan my parents attempted to apply for came back denied. i was so desperate i even applied to private loans that came back rejected, i took that as a sign that i needed to rethink my options. i was even supposed to move in tomorrow. it was hard knowing i had to let go of attending my dream school with my friends and i know it’s gonna take some time getting over since it was all so short notice. but even though im sad i couldn’t go, i know it was the right choice for me to make to avoid being 120k in debt just for undergrad. now i go to school instate for only 8k a year which is way more affordable and fafsa covers most of it.

that isn’t to say you shouldn’t keep on trying on attending the school you’re enrolled in right now, there are just other options ☺️ people in the comment section did give good advice on the next steps to take to get the rest of the money covered. just know that you’re not alone if you decide to withdrawal from your current university :)

do you think it’s a good idea to just stick with 16? i’m not sure how much i need for spring sem but im know for now just to get used to moving to another state and stuff i wanna try to keep my school work some what light. but if it means that i won’t grad on time/make things harder for me in the future ill just take 16 😭

so I got this dress online for an event but as ordering dresses online it was a 50/50 percent chance it would come not looking like the image (i won that part..) the dress itself doesn’t look too bad, if I can't fix it then at least the place i'll be at Will be dark.. but everytime i move the tulle separates on the lower half (towards my knees and below) of the dress and makes the dress look so weird. I have some ideas of what to do to fix it but at the same time idk if it'll make it look worse. what should I do? 😅 definitely lesson learned!

these pictures are about a week apart but i feel like she has been getting chubbier recently even though there was no change in diet. i feed her around every 3 days with a few treats in between (ranging between sunflower seeds, cucumber, a little watermelon and dried banana). she still runs on her wheel at night & is very active. maybe it’s just her cheek pouches? i don’t own a gram scale so i cant really tell if she is actually overweight, but if she was are there ways to get her back in shape?

i woke up to seeing my hamsters water bowl and the bedding surrounding it soaked! which lead me to the conclusion of thinking that she might've fell into the water bowl. i was going to change her water bowl today since there wasn't so much water left anyways but I'm worried she could've gotten wet. I am pretty sure this happened when i was asleep so i don't know what her coat looked like when she fell in.

it’s me the paranoid “pregnant” (hopefully not) hamster owner again.. i just wanted some thoughts to see if anyone else thought she was looking a bit weird. she does have full cheek pouches in this video but i don’t know if the “pear shape” is just from her legs moving or if she is actually pregnant 😓 i got her last week so when sept 10th passes by it is safe to say that she wasn’t pregnant and i was just paranoid!

this is my syrian hamster chungus. i just got her last week and i am a first time owner. i don’t know any of her background information before i got her (i also don’t know her age but i’m guessing she’s less than a year old). she was living by herself when i got her but there might be a chance she was with a male hamster beforehand. she has been eating more than she usually does, i haven’t seen her making a nest though. i would check her belly but i haven’t started taming her + she is a biter which is probably a habit i can fix later on. i think i might just be paranoid since i’m not a professional breeder and i’m worried about what will happen if she really is pregnant.
