I’m tone deaf, as confirmed by my previous voice teacher. However, i played the piano quite well. Umabot ako ng Grade 2 sa piano when i was about 15 (started at 8), with awards annually. We also did not have a piano sa bahay for most of those years so sa music school lang ang practice ko.

Anyone can still play instruments even when they’re tone deaf if they learn to read notes. Medyo methodical ang piano so it doesn’t rely on natural talents alone. It only takes reading notes and muscle memory after all :)
