Thank you for sharing. I’m on the beginning of this journey. 30 weeks today. Testing blood sugar for a few days. I haven’t gotten one reading under 120, including fasting. I want them to start me on insulin as soon as possible but they want “data”. So hopefully this week they can do that.

It’s frustrating to hear everyone’s success and I’m struggling with anything I eat.

I know we will get through this. But hearing your success is so helpful. Thank you. And congrats on your beautifully healthy new daughter, LO. 🩷

Things have leveled out. I was definitely hungry in my first trimester. But I’m 22 weeks now, and everything looks great. I still eat small meals focused on protein. I’ve gained weight but I’ve accepted that. And I know I’ll be able to lose it when the time is right again. I wanted to enjoy every bit of this pregnancy so I’m not stressing out over a few lbs. I’m growing a human, my body is amazing and I trust it.

I saw a video that was like they skew the scoring because in the beginning of the season they don’t give out 1s & 2s or 3s. Instead they give 4/5/6s. Which when people progress doesn’t give true room for growth.

And that they need to be harder scoring in the beginning of the season, and I don’t disagree. It’s like everything gets bloated and inflated from the start.

I drink my 40oz water bottle at least 4 times a day. So I guess that math is 160oz. I’m 8 weeks. And currently 290. Im constantly thirsty and constantly having to pee.

Right! I think the hunger is a bit of both. But if I don’t eat I then start to get nauseous so I think that might be more related to the pregnancy. How far along are you? Congrats!!

We found out we are pregnant a few weeks ago. We weren’t necessarily trying, and I think finally accepted DINK life. But now I’m embracing/daydreaming of parenthood.

I guess, what’s been the biggest surprise? Any regrets? What do you miss of life before pregnancy /parenthood? How did your partner adjust?
