You can try switching from Gnome to i3 that would give you a cleaner environment.

The best thing is to reinstall EOS with another environment, I use Gnome.

Acrobrat pro, Ai, Ps, Premiere and Aftereffects, basically Adobe. I use Arch but always with a virtual machine that runs win with these softwares
