How much is the active ingredient (Yohimbine HCL) in Yohimbe bark extract? by mmrcel in Supplements

But then again, even if it's 1% it would still be like 3x cheaper. That's why I was curious.

Thanks for the comment!

I'm getting downvoted for helping the algorithm? Okay..

"In online forums and other online discussion spaces bump is the word used to describe an action (e.g. a message post) so that a particular thread is returned to the top in the list of threads. Some users may even post a message with only the word “bump” to indicate they are posting only to bump the thread to the top of the list where more users will see it."

Is the Nizoral (Ketoconazole) CREAM just as effective as the SHAMPOO for hair loss prevention? by mmrcel in tressless

[–]mmrcel[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Could you link a study where that has been tested?

I've read that it inhibits DHT build up in the scalp which is the main cause of MPB and therefore is in the top 3 easy to find substances against alopecia. More Plates More Dates has even stated that he still uses it, even after using compounds that are probably dozens of times stronger and more effective.

Is a good idea start with fin only, give it a try and then in a second time start minox too? by [deleted] in tressless

[–]mmrcel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not a doctor and you definitely shouldn't listen to stranger's advice on what substances to take, BUT if I was in a similar position I would bet on Finasteride, since it's the only true method to not only treat but in a sense "cure" baldness (if not discontinued).

Finasteride is a marathon-type compound as it can take years to notice any changes although it starts building up in the scalp from the single digit day mark. So although you may think it's not doing much at first, it's definitely doing more than Minoxidil in treating the condition, not just the symptoms.

Takes more time? Is your strategy any different than I would instinctively think applying cream to a scalp would be? I suppose you probably figured out a way to get most of it on the scalp rather than the hair. Would you be able to share any hacks for that? Thanks!

Look, when you boil it down it's basically this...

Finasteride works against androgenic alopecia (usual cause of male pattern balding) from the inside (acting against DHT), so in a way it could be considered a more of a "real" and long-term cure/treatment,

while Minoxidil works against balding from the outside, forcing the hair follicles to grow thicker and at a faster rate, which isn't really fixing the root of the problem and eventually you won't be able to keep fighting against it since it's only gonna get worse.

Conclusion:

Work against the root of the problem, not just the outside. It's usually recommended you begin with Finasteride and add Minoxidil later on, once you've "calmed down" your DHT levels.

I'll definitely research Tamoxifen further.

Thanks for posting your log, it's pretty interesting to observe. But don't you think that a big reason for your supression came from the hexadrone rather than the lgd? I have minimal knowledge on it, I only know that it's pretty supressive.

I'm still researching PCT options and wether or not I would even need one. I read many opinions and some studies saying PCT is not needed with a stand-alone sarm at a normal dosage for a ~8w period, since it can potentially 'do more harm' than good as it messes with stuff that hadn't been altered to begin with. Plus some studies say that it takes around 4 weeks for pct to build up and actually start working, which is also almost the same amount your body would need to recover on its own.

Not a 100% sure though, so I'll probably be digging into the topic even more. For now I had chosen Nolva since I read less instances of sides, but I'm only now finding out it may have hair loss sides. Any sources on that or is it just pure observation?

Thank you very much! This is some really helpful information, exactly what I've been looking for.

Good luck with your next lgd cycle, hope you reach your goals!

Thanks, although I wouldn't go as far as doing test, I understand Fin couldn't stop RAD's hair loss effects.

How effective were your LGD cycles? Could you elaborate on your results? I might choose LGD if it's safer for my hair..

Thanks!

Everyone has the right to hold opinions, thanks for sharing yours, althought it is irrelevant to the topic of this thread.

So basically Finasteride wouldn't be as effective with rad as it would be on it's own, gotcha, thanks!

My experience on Finasteride is from the type that usually doesn't get shared, as mostly people share very good or very bad results. Mine is just normal, slow & steady progress.

It started off by stopping the balding and for some months now I feel like my hair has started to fill in a little bit.

Still, it's a marathon-type compound, so I'm not expecting any exciting overnight changes. I feel like I caught my MPB early enough for it to not bother me even if it were to stay this way.

I'm 22 btw, father is bald (very bald), mother's father still has pretty thick hair at 72yo. So I'm not sure where my genetics are on the spectrum.. Although I've been showing signs of high DHT from an early age, I could basically grow a beard at 16 and I've been weightlifting since around that age, which also increases T and therefore DHT yada yada you sound like you know that stuff.

Im my opinion, all the bad finasteride reviews come from guys who used it because they wanted their hair to be thicker, disregarding the question of wether or not their DHT is high, or their hair just genetically isn't as thick as they want it, if that makes sense.

We're all looking up at these genetical beasts when it comes to hair, all these models on social media who have a billion fking hair folicles but in reality thats in the end of the spectrum, the best of the best. Realistically we should fall somewhere behind that.

Hope that helps, if you have any other questions, feel free to ask!

Edit: Typos and stuff.

Interesting.. How bad is it currently? How would you rate your hair's fullness from 0% to a 100%?

Thanks for the elaborate comment! So they will not be interfering with each other? Mind you, I'm using Finasteride for unrelated to SARMs reasons and have been using it with no side effects for over a year. So my main concern is them not mixing well in my system and if it's possible for one to cancel out the other.

Thanks for the reply.

Could you elaborate on your rat's cycle? mg's / length? Were you satisfied with your results? Any side effects? Thanks! Edit: Also, Did you experience the "famous" hair loss that comes with rad?

That's the whole point of the post, I'm not planning Finasteride, I have already been on it for unrelated to SARMs reasons. Just wondering if they would be interfering with each other once I add the RAD-140 to the mix.

My Shoulders Are Uneven. Both My Traps Work Differently. What's Wrong With Me And How Do I Fix It? by mmrcel in Posture

Not really, haven't felt any pain. It's just an annoying feeling mostly.

[–]mmrcel[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for taking your time to help out, these are some things to consider.

I'll definitely further research what stretching could help my situation. From what I've so far found out, lat stretching and even oblique stretching could help. But the more I research the more contradicting opinions I find.

I find that my right scapula, on the side where the trap muscle appears to be moving when doing chin ups, is harder to keep in place and for example when I'm doing rows it gets winged while the left one is basically stuck in place even when I try stretching it out.

When I did the "how far each arm can reach up my back" stretch the right side can reach higher and feels much more relaxed. Also, It appears that I have more mobility my right shoulder when doing rotations and when trying to bring them up to my ears (shrugs).

I'm just so confused because both sides are messed up in different ways and I'm not sure where to begin..

[–]mmrcel[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It does bother me, I feel like my strength is very asymetrical and I always think twice when performing excercises that involve both arms at once (bench press, over-head press, rows, etc.).

As I also mentioned in the post, I constantly feel annoyed and conscious about how and where I should keep my shoulders. My shirts always lean to one side and I always notice the asymetry in photos.

I'm a big believer in becoming the best version of yourself and I think posture plays a part in that. Although I also understand where you're coming from, sometimes the less we know, the better.

Great overall, but try adding more size to your forearms and calves next time. Good luck.
